We stayed at the Pirate Hotel. Kids loved the room. I got the birthday package add on. It was worth the price to make my son's day feel special when we arrived. They had a birthday sign hanging on door and birthday surprises inside. The dinner at Bricks was okay. They were out of steak and Carnitas so all I basically had was some chicken and vegetables. The breakfast was good but not buffet style like they use to have. The dining staff were all very pleasant. The kids were able to get a pizza from the hotel and we made s'mores by the fire. We got a suite room and it was spacious, clean, and plenty of towels for all of us.

We had a good stay - and if you go to Legoland you NEED to stay at the hotel, it's worth every bit. The kids had a blast playing with so many other kids, daily evening activities for a couple hours, it's worth every penny of the experience - and it's relatively affordable, as you will be spending close to that staying anywhere else, anyways. The park itself was ok, needs a lot of TLC, many rides were broken or defective... Ironically, the Peppa pig park was actually nicer and better put together then Legoland. That little park was awesome and the kids loved it.

We stayed in one of the suites in the Pirate Hotel with a 5 and 9 year old.
Pros: Kids loved the treasure hunt with prizes of apple juice/lego packs/magazines in the safe, the bunk bed/lego station layout, the room decor and the availability of Lego movies on the TV. It was nice to have both a stand up shower and bathtub. They really enjoyed the Lego Master Build class and pajama party each evening. From their perspective it was a 10/10 stay which was worth it for us in the end. We also liked the complementary valet parking, s'mores by the fire-pit and having restaurants on site.
From an adults perspective, there could be some improvements.
Cons: Extremely dark rooms. You have one corner lamp in the living area and it's very hard to see at night. The layout of the suite was disappointing. Smaller than expected and there is no door on the entrance to the bathroom or the bunk bed room. So, once the kids go to bed, the adults cannot really sit in the living area or use the restroom/sink area without waking up the kids. Water pressure was terrible, water would not get very warm for showering, and there is absolutely no counter space to put your things with the raised sinks. The toilet made a loud filling noise every 3 minutes around the clock.
There is a lack of evening entertainment especially considering the park closes at 5 pm. Since it was early February, Bricks was closed the entire time. This only left the dining option of Shipwreck. The family style platter is a nice feature but the food was not good. The waffles and pancakes were really hard and dry. It was very expensive for the quality of food.
Overall it was a fun experience for the kids, but I don't think we'd stay onsite again.

We had an amazing stay here, my kids (6 and 3) loved it. Our package included breakfast which was convenient and tasted great. The play areas in the lobby were a hit as well. The park entrance was 100 yards away, super convenient. Highly recommend.

Spent two nights Jan 30 and 31st - two adults and two 5 year olds.
Pros:
- Close to the Legoland park
- Free daily Lego masterclass (so fun!)
- Clean rooms
- Decor very fun for kids
- In room welcome scavenger hunt with Lego kits
- Bathtub in room
- Bunkbeds always a highlight for kids
- Friendly staff
Cons:
- Room key card sensor broken on room door upon arrival and couldn’t enter till fixed by maintenance
- Rooms for master class had a bad smell (kind of like dirty bleach)
- Food at breakfast was fine for what it was - wouldn’t eat there again
- The lobby is in theory fun for kids but way too overstimulating for our kids
Couldn’t experince the pool due to extreme cold weather.
Overall it was fun for two nights but felt a bit overpriced for what it was.
