- CCCrystalOct 17, 20252.0Not starting off well with this visit. I called ahead and made the reservation had trouble with my card so I barrowed my adopted mother's. I specifically asked if I would need this card at check In ,because it wasn't mine. I was told no it doesn't matter who the card belongs to and that I didn't need it. My email was sent and I was good to go. So we drove the 45 mins to get there. Once there I told them I had a reservation and confirmation number. I was told then to insert my card. Which as I explained earlier I wouldn't have. Well after a very long 2 day drive I now had to drive back 45 mins to get the card then back to motel another 45 mins. I am not happy with the service and I haven't even made it into the room yet. The lady at the desk acted like it's no big deal and was very snobbish. I have stayed at other Hamptons and had some very good experiences but as far as this particular one in Winter Haven Florida I would NOT recommend ever staying here. I was told one thing and the exact opposite was actually done! While trying to make the call to get the card to bring back another couple came in and they were told the same thing cards aren't charged til u get here. Yet their payment was taken from there card already. So it seems to be common practice to lie to their guests.

- KGKoy GoddessOct 4, 20252.0Something is seriously wrong with their A/C system. We all developed stuffy noses where we were mouth breathing within an hour of being in the room. Even freezing cold in the room it felt damp. When we would leave the room and go outside within a few minutes our noses would unclog and start draining. We stayed for three days and it ruined our trip. We all developed coughs, sneezes, and stayed away from the rooms for as long as possible because we knew our nights would be miserable. Even switched from the 3rd floor to the 2nd because the 3rd floor was the worst. Slightly better but not really. Definitely would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone until they get their crap together.
