- RRReuel Belt - Ru4 days ago5.0The Canopy is a wonderful hotel tucked away quietly in Downtown West Palm Beach. The rooms are wonderfully spacious with cool art and simple touches -- and clean!! The roof top has great views and the hotel is just steps away from City Place. We had both dinner and breakfast on site and the meals were healthy and tasty. Seth in guest services was indispensable for our stay! He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. In addition to Seth, (Shuttle) Bob and Antoinette also provided us with information about our room and the downtown area. We highly recommend staying at Canopy if you are in Downtown West Palm beach and again cannot thank Seth and the team enough for their warm welcome and impeccable service.

Super spunky, sweet, and nice, had wonderful food and drink recommendations, and she had incredible service and hospitality. Highly recommend! Will definitely be coming back next time I’m in town.

The rooms were very clean, well maintained, and serviced by professional housekeeping. The bathroom and shower were exceptional, and overall room quality deserves 4.5 stars (though mattress comfort varied). Breakfast was a major highlight—excellent quality and highly recommended. The front desk staff was very helpful and professional, earning a full 5 stars. Valet parking was smooth, fast, and convenient, also deserving 5 stars. The downtown location is another strong point, close to major events, restaurants, and attractions. However, amenities were a disappointment. The rooftop pool was not heated as advertised, and the jacuzzi did not work for over a week, which is a deal breaker for families with kids. The gym is small and basic, and the rooftop bar/restaurant is average. One important caution: although some perks are included with the room, billing requires careful review at checkout. We spent about 20 minutes resolving double charges, and other guests experienced the same issue—suggesting this is a common problem. Bottom line: Excellent rooms, breakfast, staff, valet parking, and location—but poor pool amenities and billing issues keep this hotel at a firm 3-star rating.
