Our family (my husband, myself, and our two sons) stayed here on our way to Fort Lauderdale. The resort is nice and well maintained and the rooms are clean.
Here are our issues:
1) they have no restaurant open for lunch, we had to leave the resort to find a place.
2) while everyone was in the pool having a good time around 4pm they made an announcement that the pool was closing for “unscheduled maintenance” and made everyone leave
3) the restaurant serving dinner had no available reservations and the bar only serves 4 small snack options. The outside area for the bar only has three tables for some odd reason which were always full so sitting out there is not an option.
4) our family had been traveling all day and we were exhausted and we had to get up very early so we all went to bed early at 8:30. At 9pm an employee called my cell phone, which I did not answer because I was asleep, they then called our room, and the phone is very loud and they woke us all up. They were just checking on us. I said we did not need anything and we were all very tired and sleeping. THEN the hotel manager calls the room 20 minutes later, after we’ve all finally fallen back to sleep and wakes us all up again! Saying our car just finished charging and my husband needs to get up and get dressed and move it. She also said the charging was “only for teslas” which is just another example of how rude and ignorant she is.
I hope we can all agree that repeatedly calling someone’s room after 9pm, when they have young children sleeping is extremely rude and inconsiderate.

We had a lovely breakfast this morning at Wind and Waves for our anniversary! I had the eggs Benedict and my husband had the two biscuits meal. Logan was our server and he was fantastic! Friendly, helpful, and right on time with drink refills and the check! We had a great time!

After nearly a decade as Disney Vacation Club members and countless magical trips to Walt Disney World, we finally took a chance on Disney’s Vero Beach Resort — and we’re so glad we did.
This trip was a last-minute decision after a delayed booking window, and what began as a backup plan quickly turned into one of the most enjoyable Disney experiences we’ve ever had.
The resort itself is charming — small, peaceful, and full of character. While it doesn’t boast the bells and whistles of the Orlando parks, it lacks absolutely nothing. The beach is wide open and easily accessible, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and the rooms reminded us of a cozy, scaled-down version of the Riviera Resort.
But what truly made this stay exceptional — what will keep us coming back year after year — is the phenomenal cast.
Ali, the Guest Experience Manager, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.
Leora and Rosa greeted us each day with warmth, genuine kindness, and a sense of belonging that’s hard to describe.
And to the many other amazing team members we encountered — thank you for making us feel not just welcomed, but seen.
At every Disney resort, we’ve been greeted with smiles and a “Welcome Home,” but Vero Beach felt warmer. More personal. More like family.
Coming back each evening wasn’t just returning to a hotel — it was returning to see our new friends, who remembered us, laughed with us, and made sure we enjoyed every moment.
Moving forward, we’ll be splitting our yearly Disney time between the parks and Vero Beach — because now we can’t imagine a trip without seeing this incredible team that truly makes magic in their own way.
Thank you, Ali, Leora, Rosa, and the entire Vero Beach crew. We can’t wait to come visit you again and look forward to trading pins with you for many years to come!

Sooo friendly! Been a while since I stayed on Disney property. Plenty of helpful staff . Can be a bit pricey if you don't leave the resort ,but the market is best food option . Not much beachfront ,at high tide .so time your tide visit . Nice pool ,very similar to the Boardwalk.

Had an okay stay. The room was okay. Newly redone but missing a few things. There could be more side tables and model the layout after Hiltons Head remodel. That was a much better use of space! Main floor lobby bottle fill station was incredibly slow.
Our tv had two burn in lines or damage. We were not staying long so notified staff at the end. Pool was closed during our two night stay which was a bummer. Would love a second pool here for when this happens. Hot tub and splash area was still open.
Underground parking is amazing and very helpful.
Cast Members were phenomenal from gate check in to the store, to front of house to the lifeguards and activities! They made the trip!
View from inn was amazing to wake up to!
