- TTTaylorOct 6, 20252.0I was really disappointed with my stay. My first impression started before I even got to my room. The elevator was in rough shape from the start, shaking violently and squealing every time it moved. It felt unsafe, and after we used it, the hotel ended up shutting it down. That should tell you everything. I saw an elderly woman with a cane struggling to make it up the stairs to her room, which was tough to watch. The first room we were assigned had numerous hairs on the bed, some long but many short and curly. It was disgusting. We asked for a new room, but even the second one had a few hairs, along with a strange stain on the comforter. At that point, we had to start getting ready and didn’t have time to move again. I attached a few photos of the hairs - you’d be the judge. There were a bunch more, in the pillowcases, etc., just grabbed a few pictures quickly. The shower door kept opening itself. This let cold air in while showering. The next morning, the fire alarm went off and stayed on for at least 20 minutes. There was a faint burning smell in the hallway, but no visible response from hotel staff. The front desk clerk said she was aware, but no one silenced the alarm or called the fire department while I was there. Overall, the property felt neglected and poorly managed. Definitely not the standard I expect from Holiday Inn. It’s a good thing they’re renovating; hopefully this improves things, but cleanliness must be addressed!
- MSM SSep 18, 20255.0The best part of this hotel is Milita in kitchen making breakfast everyday for everyone. So pleasant and accommodating. The food is good. Unfortunately the tv in our room didn’t work and we had to get another room on the bottom floor. Very noisy. But also convenient location.
