We were worried about staying here after reading the reviews. The room was clean enough. We checked the bed for bugs, as well as the rest of the room - no bugs. Everything seemed clean enough - the room is older, and we took that into account. The plumbing all worked, unlike the last place we stayed in, so that was a complete plus. If you want to watch anything on TV, you have to screencast from your phone to the TV using Netflix or YouTube. That was a new experience for us. Weirdly, it would not work with my iPad. Our bed was good and we slept well.
The negative was the hair in the towels. First, there was one hand towel, 2 wash cloths and 2 big towels. That was a bit stingy. I usually use a hand towel to dry my hair, and there was not one. Then, while drying, black hair, two kinds, falls out of my towel, as well as my husband's. One was tufts of short, kinky black hair, and the other was long black hair. I am a redhead, so it was definitely not my hair. I had to pull it off my husband's back. That was very disturbing. Their laundresses seem to be shedding. That could be a medical issue that needs to be checked.
Breakfast has scrambled eggs, which are unseasoned, sausage, and many carb-laden offerings. I ate eggs, sausages, and coffee. It was adequate. I wish there were red pepper flakes to spice them up, but that is me. Fruit was small apples and one small orange. They have a waffle maker, cereal, biscuits, etc. The room is a bit small, so we ate by the pool. It was nice to sit outside. The pool itself was closed.
The customer service seemed good. We had no complaints.
The hotel is convenient to I-95 and near Walmart, which I needed to stop by, so that was good. The immediate area seems a bit depressed, not sure why. A mile down the road is a different story.
Overall, the hotel served our purposes, and we got a good rest to continue our journey.
Needed a hotel last minute and they were the only one in the area with an available room. Usually not a fan of outside set up. Found myself in crisis when I woke up to a flat tire & then lost my wallet, and that meant we were gonna be unable to board our cruise. DAVID Not only real life and help get air in my tire, but also found my wallet for me. My wallet was sitting right on top of my car where I left it. Nothing missing , Just there in plain sight. Forever thankful that our trip is not ruined. Thank you, David for going above and beyond the call of duty today⭐️⭐️⭐️
We got there…the lobby k-cup was next to empty as was the water bottle next to it…there was crap floating in the water that was in there. Our room was ehhh we had a handicap shower for some reason…The water literally goes out of the shower and all over the floor! Room 159 …everything got wet. It was annoying! Also we found about a half dozen hairs in the bathroom like right on the counter ..beds were ok! We stayed one noght it was 111 and change before Tex I think 123 with. I wished I would have stayed at the Holiday Inn it was advertised cheaper

We arrived at the Titusville BW Space Shuttle Inn around 3a.m., we were planning to stay only a few hours to rest up before going to the port to board our cruise ship.
The receptionist gave us our room key and a map showing us where the room was located (#258). When we got to the room there was a key card already in the door. My husband made a comment stating that it means the housekeepers didn’t clean the room. I went ahead and opened the door and people were in the bed awake and starring at me. We were mortified. If that was your family we walked in on I’m just as upset as you are. Immediately went back to the receptionist who was already waiting at the outside window and apologizing. No apology accepted, your job is not that hard. She stated the printer printed the wrong room number which is a complete lie, she clearly wasn’t paying attention. Upon going to our ‘new’ room which was only a few doors down we entered it and it smelled like someone had sat in the room for 15 years smoking cigarettes. Even the ‘clean’ linens that I attempted to cover my face with and sleep smelled heavily of smoke and gave me a migraine. When we left I again reiterated my mortification to being given an occupied room and walking in on sleeping occupants and was not offered any type of compensation or refund. I will never stay in another Worst Western ever again, even if they are individually owned.
This is the worst motels I have ever stayed at in my life. The bathroom had bugs, the sink, had bugs and my bed had bugs. When I got home, I realized I had bug bites on my back and on my hips. The mattress that I had to sleep on should be in a dumpster. The springs were shot so it felt like I was sleeping in a hole. There were two of us staying in this double room and there were two bath towels, two hand towel towels, and two washcloths. One of the bath towel towels had a black stain on it 8 to 10 inches long and 2 to 3 inches wide, when we asked for clean towels, we never got any, and that was after three calls were placed to the reception area. While we were waiting to check out another customer came in with an issue, her toilet was plugged. She was given a plunger to take to her room to use, apparently she was to replace the staff member that should’ve been addressing the issue! She was also told to leave the plunger outside the door and someone from housekeeping would pick it up. Seriously??? Housekeeping didn’t come on day two to make up the beds, leave fresh linens, empty the trash, etc. once again a call was placed ( twice )with no one coming to take care of business. Another thing that I personally did not like was that the rooms were across the parking lot from the check-in/front desk area, not a safe place in my opinion, also there were no elevators to bring heavy things upstairs. I will give positive recognition to the woman who checked us out in the morning. She listened to our complaints and apologize for all of the issues. I don’t know her name, but the manager should, she was a tiny woman with short, dark caring glasses.
My message would be don’t stay in this motel! Third World countries have better accommodations than this place
