- MNMark NelsonJan 24, 20261.0Everything about this stay was a no. As a veteran booking through the military website, I was surprised by the complete lack of flexibility. Our party was four people with three children. I asked to upgrade to a different room. The price difference was only $11.25, and the hotel was not fully booked. I was told I could not pay the difference, could not upgrade, and would have to cancel and rebook entirely. I was also told I could not use my IHG member number. Every request was denied. When I pointed out that everything had been a no, the response was simply “ok.” I was then offered a room where a rollaway bed was required. When I asked how the rollaway would fit, I was told I could place it in front of the air and heater unit. I am posting the room photo so others can judge for themselves. This hotel cost more than The Citrus Hotel, which is only a few miles away, is on the water, offers more amenities, has kitchenettes, and provides two-room layouts. This property was about $30 more for significantly less value. More money, fewer amenities, and zero flexibility, even with a military booking and IHG rewards. I would not stay here again.
