  We stayed at Staybridge Suites Tampa on February 11 while attending the Florida State Fair and to try the Staybridge brand for the first time. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Two days before arrival we called the hotel to confirm the hot tub was working, as this is an important amenity for us. We were told it was operational. After check-in we went directly to use it before heading to the fair, only to find it completely cold with no signage posted. When we asked the front desk, we were told the heater was not working. Later that evening after returning from the fair, the air conditioning unit in our room could not be adjusted and left the room extremely cold. We ultimately had to open the windows just to make the room comfortable. The next morning we discovered that our room door did not latch securely when closed, meaning the room could not be reliably secured. We reported these issues to the front desk and also contacted customer service during our stay, but no meaningful resolution or service recovery was offered. Because of this experience we chose not to stay the second night as originally planned. Given the maintenance and safety concerns we encountered, we hope hotel management and the brand review these issues to ensure the property is meeting expected standards for future guests.

  Not good for a Two bedroom Suite. Had no water pressure in the shower in one room, yet sink has plenty of pressure. Stand pipe on the floor reads 55 psi. So plenty of pressure. Had the shower head changed,it was clogged. Better, but still not good. Old TV's and just shotty repairs. Also, Hot Tub was not working! The list just goes on and on!

  The doors look impressive, very homey. Otherwise, the rooms are worn. TV is from 2012, classic AC unit that sounded like a jet engine every time it started. I'll usually travel with earplugs anyways. Breakfast was substance, very much mediocrity. Chicken sausage patty was...Grey. Duvet cover was stained. This place should be $89/ night
