An honest review: The breakfast was absolutely disgusting. The proximity to Busch Gardens was the only good thing about the location. We naively took a walk down the road to explore what was close by and we did NOT feel safe. Homeless people sitting on the streets. The hallway had a very weird stench. The room itself was nothing special and dont get me started on the water pressure. The only pool was outside and not heated. The ONLY good thing about the entire hotel was the shuttle to Busch Gardens and Rick the Driver. Hes a keeper! However, we will not be staying again.

This hotel was very nice at a great price. The pool area is a little outdated with not many chairs but we stayed during the winter time. The lobby always had free fresh ground coffee in the morning. This hotel is very close to the amusement park. We stayed here for a concert at the arena, the drive to the arena was a little long due to traffic.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Room 401 was not cleaned well. There was a lingering pet smell. The carpets were stained in several places. It appeared as if they had not been cleaned in forever. The light switches had not been wiped off. There was red stuff on the switch in the bathroom and some gooey stuff on the side of the night stand. This is why I bring my own supplies like Lysol spray and wipes to hotels. The breakfast was decent but they ran out of certain items quickly. Overall, this wouldn’t be a hotel I recommend.

Where do I start? When we arrived our room wasn't ready. No worries we were headed to Busch Gardens for the day. Shuttle was leaving right when we were ready. Dropped off right at the entrance stress free. RICK IS THE MAN! My son and I gave him the nickname Tampa Rick. He knew the area unbelievable well. Was as kind as can be. I really enjoyed talking to him. Give this man a raise and a promotion. He is a gem and needs to be recognized. Front desk staff were no different. As pleasant as can be and very easy to deal with. Rooms were fresh but a little outdated. This property could use a little TLC. But the beds were super comfortable and the shower was warm with grest pressure. We were in room 212. My son loved he got to watch the coasters from our room. Book this hotel if you are going to Busch Gardens! You will not be disappointed.

I called this hotel and asked if they had free shuttles to the Carnival Port. I was told that they did and I would have no trouble getting there in the morning.
I told the person on the phone at this location that I would make my booking online since I wanted to use points and she told me that she could set it up herself so that my points would be deducted and the room would be paid for. She told me that she was making several notes on my reservation so that whoever checked me in would have no question that I was using points to pay for the room. She took my credit card number because she said that was standard for incidentals charged to the room.
When I got to the Hotel the desk clerk there told me that I could not pay for my room with points because I needed to do that online ahead of time and that the room was going to be charged to my credit card. I was very upset about this and tried to get her to understand the conversation that I had on the phone with the desk clerk. But she told me there was no way. Then I asked her if we could arrange their free shuttle to take us to the Carnival port in the morning and she informed me that they did not have a shuttle to the Carnival port and that I would have to get an Uber. This hotel was a very long way from where I needed to be the next morning and I never would have stayed the hotel knowing that they did not supply a shuttle to the port. The desk clerk that I spoke to on the phone cost me a lot of money. My card was charged approximately $285 for the room and the Uber ride was approximately 35 dollars. This was over $300 that I had not planned on using for my trip. I am extremely upset with how this was handled and I will never stay there again. I think that the company should reimburse me that money because it was their employees mistake.
