On February 26th at 10:00 AM when I checked into the hotel the man working the desk was extremely rude and unfriendly. He said multiple times that he had just had three days off work and that he didn’t want to be at work because it was busy and “no one told him anything”. When I check into a hotel I do not want to be greeted by a negative person who does not want to be there and I do not want to hear the person complain about their job and job duties. This was a bad experience that I will be telling my friends, family, and work colleagues about. I expected better from the Hilton and the employee should be reprimanded or fired because they don’t even want to be working there. It was an awful way to start my stay and I won’t stay at the hotel again unless something is done about this employee and the poor experience they provided to me and my spouse.

I stayed at the Hilton Tampa Downtown during the Publix Gasparilla Run. I rated 3 star for the room because the bathroom was entirely too small. Nysha and Jordan were great attendants. They were very accomodating, pleasent, and resourceful. I am giving a 3 star rating for the overall rating because the hotel charges a $15 food and beverage and $22 cleaner fee that is nonreturnable. Well I was there for a running event and did not need to have anything cleaned by the facilities. Even if I was there for a conference, I still would not trust the hotel's cleaning service with my clothes and it is completely wrong to force me to pay for a service that I would never use. Even the food charge forces you to eat and drink something from the hotel which I made myself do since I was being charged for it anyway.

My stay at Hilton Tampa Downtown was a great reminder that thoughtful hospitality makes all the difference, whether you are traveling for work or a little fun. The week started with an easy check in and a genuinely friendly, accommodating team. Always appreciated when you are balancing emails, bags, and caffeine. Midweek, Chris at the front desk came through with clutch snack support because sometimes snacks are a survival strategy, not a luxury. In the evenings, Che Vita Vee and Ronnie were fantastic. They handled a full range of personalities with humor and grace and somehow made it look easy. On my final night, Xiomara and the team went above and beyond while I was dealing with a migraine. They coordinated my DoorDash, brought extra blankets, and made sure I had bottled water. That kind of care can turn a long travel day around quickly. As a former hospitality professional, I notice the details, and this team delivered. A special nod to the event and banquet teams whose service, smiles, and professionalism did not go unnoticed. Work travel can be exhausting, but the care and attention here truly stood out. Highly recommend for business or pleasure. I would gladly stay again.

When I we arrived early Friday evening valet claimed there was no parking left for over sized vehicles so they WOULD NOT TAKE MY CAR. It’s not even 7pm on a Friday & you have no parking for your own hotel guest!! Really?? FYI I have a Yukon. So after me they continued accepting every single car. A hybrid suv mercedes, a bmw suv, a lifted jeep, & an expedition. So your telling me my car needs a bigger spot than all of those? That jeep would absolutely need a wider spot than me. The young lady was extremely rude to us….with the attitude like get out of here — she said the parking garage is 3-4 blocks that way so can you move your car. No apology for the inconvenience, in fact it was the opposite….It was like we were inconveniencing her and needed to leave. You don’t expect that kind of treatment from the staff at the Hilton. I will NEVER stay at this location again. Previously we’ve always stayed at the Embassy, that’s where we will be staying in the future. Our 3 night stay was almost $1,000.00 & not allowing us to park on site is UNACCEPTABLE in my opinion. I absolutely would make it known to your guest you restrict parking for basic suv’s like yukons and tahoes size vehicles. That’s a good thing for guest to be aware of

5 STARS to Gabby. This is actually an interesting story: I wanted to book the room, because I was drunk (14th of Feb) and I could not drive. Gabby told me there is no vacancy, but 79 or so rooms available for tomorrow. I said: "Alright, I will come back tomorrow". She took my ID and said that reservation is available, I asked if she needs my credit card - she said no. I also wanted to buy something from buffet, but she allowed me to take two snacks for free, which was very nice of her. The next day when I came back the gentleman at the front desk said there is no reservation on my name and there is nobody with the name Gabby working in the hotel. No more, no less than St. Valentines Miracle. Anyway, I still would like to book the room when I am in the area! Thank You for being EXTREMELY NICE AND HOSPITAL TO me. God Bless Your Business and Thousands of Years of Success and Prosperity!!!!!!!!!!!!! With my HIGHEST RESPECT, HONOR AND LOVE, v.
