Front desk staff are friendly and professional. A lot of issues with the infrastructure of the hotel, though. Water wasn’t on for a few hours. Issues with the WiFi. Card readers not working. This is a pretty nice-looking hotel that’s in a good location, but basic things like the water turning off or the Wi-Fi failing shouldn’t ever happen.

The Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore was a disappointment. The hotel is clearly understaffed, with employees stretched thin and doing multiple jobs, leading to slow and inconsistent service. The rooms are outdated and poorly maintained, and the hallways had an unpleasant odor, adding to the run-down feel. On top of that, the hotel charges extra fees that do not even include breakfast, something most hotels now provide. Overall, this property does not meet Hilton standards and is not worth the price.

Doesnt worth it, They left me without a baby crib despite my request, there was no microwave, fewer amenities in the room, paid parking, only one roll of toilet paper – in short, for the price paid, the Hilton is no longer worth it. This will be our last time staying there, Oh, I forgot, and there was an alarm going o. all night on the 7th floor. We called reception, and they said there was nothing wrong, and that they would send someone to check, but nobody came to our room. Even the phone in the room wasn't working, I had to call the direct line with my cell phone. I'm attaching a video of the alarm sound

The staff here is wonderful — the woman who checked me in last night was extraordinarily good at customer relations. She had a line of people waiting behind me, and the guy she had just helped would have tried the patience of Mother Teresa. And yet, she was as pleasant as it is possible to be and acted as if she were genuinely glad to see me and as if I were the only person she had to deal with all evening. BUT when I went up to my room and walked in, the smell was awful! The room smelled as if a little old man had lived there — without bathing — since Eisenhower was in office. I would have gone back downstairs and asked for another room, but I was too tired and it was only for one night. But I made sure I showered and shampooed just before leaving so I wouldn’t smell like a little old man who had given up on bathing. It wasn’t that the room hadn’t been cleaned — the floors and bathroom were spotless. It just smelled old and funky. And then I noticed the wear and tear around the room — the photo below is just one example — it’s the inside of the bathroom door. And THEN I went downstairs for breakfast. I normally stay at Hampton Inns — where breakfast is included, and they usually have a make-your-own-waffle machine. Well THIS Hilton charges you $20 for a breakfast buffet — which was indistinguishable from a Hampton Inn breakfast buffet — except instead of a waffle iron, they had a big open bucket of cottage cheese. Ugh.

One of the loudest hotels I have ever stayed at. They also have a frustrating parking system that requires you to register your vehicle online for the duration of your stay. Yet the parking system doesn’t even work. I was sent a ticket in the mail for a random day in the middle of my stay even though I registered through their site like the front desk instructed. This hotel is either trying to scam people or their system doesn’t even work. Either way I would suggest staying at any hotel other than this one.
