  Ok, I’ve been all over the world and stayed at various hotels, so here’s my review. This is coming from an Asian so customer service is highly expected and this hotel didn’t deliver. I’ve read the reviews here before booking, but it’s mixed, so I might as well give it a chance, and I was truly disappointed. I know I will get an AI generated response for this review so who cares but I just have to give my feedback. I do not recommend this hotel for the following reasons. Stayed here for 3 nights at around $170 per night after taxes—way too much for what you get. Breakfast was mediocre at best. The scrambled eggs on the first day were not good: slimy and undercooked. For that price, they couldn’t even spring for real coffee mugs? Everything was cheap paper and plastic. Those of us who are coffee drinkers, we know that coffee tastes bad in a paper cup—basic customer service fail. On the last night, the room reeked of a bad stench. Told the front desk; she didn’t offer to switch rooms or do anything immediate. Just said they’d shampoo the carpet the next day—after we’d already checked out. The evening staff was ice-cold: no smile, robotic monotone spiel about breakfast times and key cards. Zero warmth or effort. Housekeeping? Only on request. At $170/night, they won’t even swap out wet towels or clean the bathroom unless you ask? Worst part: during breakfast, some salesperson hounds you to buy vacation packages while you’re trying to eat. Overpriced with terrible service and awful food.

  We stayed at 2 different Hampton locations. One before and one after our cruise. Our stay at this particular location stood out by far. From our first interaction via phone call from the cruise port, our group was incredibly impressed. You have a superstar staff and they all should be commended. I wish I had gotten all their names but first and foremost our entire group want to express our heartfelt thanks to Miguel. The reason we truly were able to enjoy this choice of location is thanks to his recommendations. We shared our interests and he immediately shared all the best spots for what we were looking for. The following day he helped us discover the market at the park and the trolley. He recommended excellent places to eat and helped get us right to the bus to the airport that evening. His attitude, kindness and work ethic was admirable and we very rarely see someone so incredibly excited about what he does. We saw him share the same joy with so many other guests. He is a true gem and I hope you recognize his efforts and share our gratitude. Lastly, I want to thank Tayvion at the front desk. He was so helpful with ensuring our group was taken care of and that we were safe and comfortable. There were also a few amazing women at the front desk that gave us excellent dinner recommendations, helped with ice and luggage, and were so kind. I know this review is long but it is so well deserved. We will be back and specifically to this location. We hope to see your amazing staff and Miguel! Also, need to mention room was spacious, clean and breakfast was great! Location is walking distance to a variety of restaurants and coffee shops.

  Great place to stay if visiting Tampa and Ybor City. Location is great. Rooms are clean. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend and will stay here if we come back to the area.

  Hotel was great! We stayed overnight with a stay snd cruise deal and it worked out perfect. Room was great, clean and comfy. Customer Service was great. Safety measured with keyboard only access to hotel rooms via elevator is a nice touch. It also included breakfast and parking for duration of cruise. Majority of parking is covered. Hotel was close to port and provided a shuttle to drop off at port and pick up afterwards back to the hotel to get our car. Would definitely stay again next time we're in Tampa.

  Good hotel, have stayed here a few times with my company. Its in a great location to ybor city. If you have a larger vechicle truck / suv there is parking area above the garage it should fit height wise. Room was clean and taken care of. Bed is little stiff woke up in the morning took a while to get loose. Morning breakfast provided which is nice had an assortment of options. Would stay again
