    🌟 5-Star Review: Hilton Embassy Suites Honors Our U.S. Veterans with Exceptional Hospitality 🌟 During the 2025 USA Hockey Long Drink Warrior Classic at the Advent Health Ice Center in Tampa, FL, the Minnesota Warriors Hockey Team- a non-profit organization- had the privilege of staying at the Hilton Embassy Suites, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding. They housed two of our hockey teams and their families. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to make our U.S. disabled veterans feel welcome, respected, and supported. Each morning began with a delicious, hearty breakfast that fueled the team for a full day of competition, and each evening ended with a warm, inviting happy hour that gave everyone a chance to unwind and connect. When we needed a last-minute meeting room to host the team, the Embassy Suites staff didn’t hesitate for a moment—they immediately found a solution and ensured everything was ready for us. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine care for our veterans made a lasting impression on everyone. The hotel provided a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment, reflecting a deep appreciation for those who have served. It’s clear that the Hilton Embassy Suites doesn’t just offer great accommodations—they truly honor and support America’s heroes.     I was charged a $300 smoking fee and I’ve never smoked a day in my life. This is our second time staying at an Embassy Hotel. We had such a great experience the first time, we thought our second time around would be just as great, but we were wrong. Our room had a pungent smell of Mold and mildew. We asked if someone could check our room because of the foul smell. No one checked our room, just immediately moved us to a new room. The 2nd room had the same issue. Told the manager again, he apologized and moved us again. The 3rd room didn’t have the foul smell but there was hair on the floor and needed vacuuming. It was late and my kids needed to go to bed so we stayed and waiting until the next day to ask them if they could vacuum the room and clean the bathroom floors. They said they would but it never happened. We Didn’t bother to ask again. The manager offered to give us a discount and I said we didn’t need the discount just wanted a clean place for my family. We checked out around 4:30am and there was a $300 charge on my account that I never noticed until the next day. I called to ask why, we have never smoked. He said there was a system that picked up smoking in our hotel. I asked him was it on a certain night and he said yes. I told him that was my flat iron. I’m black and I used products in my hair to prevent heat damage and it will give off a smoking smell. The lady at the desk refused to believe it was my flat iron and I begged her to let me send it to them ( at my own cost) so they could test it. It would’ve been cheaper for me to send the flat iron. They wouldn’t. They said they would talk to a manager and get back to me, I never heard from anyone again. We could have complained so much but we didn’t. We remained kind and understanding but we didn’t receive the same respect back. I am no longer a Hilton supporter. That situation has truly rubbed me the wrong way. I wish we would’ve taken more photos but that’s all we had. Very disappointing.

    Stay here and you will not be disappointed. Front desk was outstanding on all 3 shifts during our stay. The breakfast staff were attentive and everything was kept clean and stocked.

    I stayed here two nights in October 2025. It's an older Embassy Suites, but the staff does a good job of keeping everything in great condition. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. Plenty of parking around the hotel and convenient highway access. I would stay here again.

    I enjoyed my stay at the Embassy Suites, the breakfast was really good and fresh, the evening cocktail hour was Amazing…if you stay here make sure you visit Mason the bartender, he made me an excellent Mango margarita. He will make anything that you ask, if he doesn’t know how to make it he will definitely try if you tell him what to put in it.
