Curbside check in parking is poorly laid out and congested, poor customer service at check in, poorly stocked rooms with no water, and reception sent message to check in but then never responded to my reply when I needed assistance. Overall too pricy of a hotel for the actual experience. Stay elsewhere.

My granddaughter was visiting from Baltimore and wanted to go to Blufin for breakfast. She read that it had good reviews. Well, food was mediocre at best. Never given a menu, not a soul came to our table, couldn't get silverware or napkins. The gentleman at the door pointed us to the breakfast bar, which was mostly empty of food. Not much to offer someone for $22 per person. Beautiful outside view but it looked they had thrown the tables and chairs on the patio, no set ups at all. I cannot nor would not recommend this place, at least not for breakfast. The only person who helped us was a lady Joanne. She got us utensils and napkins and apologized. I got a response back from Blufin Business Manager, Mark. Thank you for your review and comment regarding Joanne. My apologies that we did not live up to our usual standards this morning which recently led us to be named best hotel restaurant in Tampa Bay. I will not go into detail on the issues we faced this morning, but please know that my apology is heartfelt. It is through these comments that we can continue to improve. Thank you.

Excellent location in the heart of downtown Tampa. Went to an event at the convention center via the sky bridge from the hotel. Front desk was super helpful. Bar was open relatively late and had a great menu. Overall, very good experience.

The hotel is beautiful. I went with my husband and son. We really enjoyed the lovely view of the pool. The public areas were very well maintained and clean. I loved it! The breakfast buffet and Kenny's service were excellent. We even enjoyed watching dolphins swim by while we admired the bay. On the other hand, some details in the room were not to our liking. The bathtub drain was very clogged, so bathing had to be quick. The lightbulb above the mirror in front of the closet was burned out, making it difficult to see properly in that area. Also, the thickest sheet had a rather unsightly stain. We were very busy throughout our stay, so I couldn't report these inconveniences since we spent little time at the hotel and I didn't want anyone entering my room without my presence. I simply believe these were things that shouldn't have been missed during the room inspection. They are details that can be improved. Overall, very good, and I would choose them again on future visits to the area.
