I don’t think I’ve ever had worse customer service. I worked in a restaurant for 5 years and work as a hairstylist so I’ve been on the other side of this. We used 58k points and spent $500 then were prompted to check in early and pay another $20 to pick the room. When my husband was able to download to room code it wasn’t the room he picked. Naturally he called the hotel to see what happened. Alex is who we talked to and not once did he apologize for what happened to the reservation. Instead he said what do you want me to do about it in a very rude way and we had been put on hold by him mid sentence with no warning a couple times. Alex interrupted my husband once as my husband was trying to ask about other rooms because Alex was providing any options or explanations This was on the beginning of our 8 hour drive and this was the night before a very important lunch meeting for a job opportunity and we had planned this trip to the tee while trying to balance a nursing month old and a 2 year old. We did all the prep to avoid a problem with the room and the poor customer service and no one trying to make it right was utterly disappointing. Even now trying to complain they just keep giving us the run around and now say their hands are tied. It’s been a month trying to resolve this and my husband was promised a phone call from this hotel and instead he got an email and Sally went ahead and issued a refund for the $20 and points that doesn’t even equal the amount we used and corporate customer service says that their hands are tied. I guess being a Hilton credit card rewards member for over 15 years gets you bad customer service. I will tell everyone about this experience. Hilton has a program called Make it Right which the hotel found a shady way around by issuing a refund we didn’t agree to because it doesnt even remotely equal what we spent and why would we want less points than we spent that we won’t ever use after the experience we had with the hotel staff and management.

The staff is great! The location is fantastic! The gym is great! The room was a bummer, needs updating!! The hotel restaurant was pretty bad, they were out of everything (update your menu), the ceiling was leaking pretty bad because it was raining, the food was horrible. There’s no complimentary coffee in lobby in the mornings which is lame. There’s hotel itself needs some updating.

it's a nice older hotel... very quiet... location is okay. it's kind of isolated. especially if you don't have a car. The gym is nice and they don't play loud music which is a nice change.

This was an extremely frustrating experience. I attempted to book through the Hilton app and never received confirmation. The app never moved past the confirmation screen and I received no email or proof of booking. I was only notified of the reservation after returning to Tampa from our cruise. I spent from 9:30am onward calling and texting to resolve the issue, yet communication was delayed and unhelpful. I was ultimately told I would be charged $xxx for a booking I never confirmed. Guests should not be financially responsible for system errors or incomplete app transactions. This experience felt unfair and poorly handled. I would strongly encourage this property to review its booking and confirmation safeguards.

Absolutely the worst hotel ever. Stayed Monday through Friday and didn’t have hot water the first 3 mornings. The shower was lukewarm at best after 5-10 minutes, but by then the tub was over half full. Let the water drain and then ice cold water again. Ended up showering standing shin deep in cold water. I complained each morning and each night was assured it was fixed. Indeed the water was hot at night, but not in the morning. I finally convinced them to move me to a new room after Thursdays shower. Then tonight while I was in bed someone opened my door and tried to get in. Luckily I had the safety latch engaged but the person tried several times. I put my clothes back on and there was a big guy hurrying down the hall and ignored me when I hollered at him. I went down to the front desk and was told the manager was who tried to enter my room. His excuse was that their system said the room was occupied, but that they typically don’t put guest in this room. He decided to come up and try to force his way in the room to see if it was really occupied. I asked why he didn’t call and he shrugged. I could go on. Only two free bottles of water for a 4 night stay. Was told to check out every day if I wanted water every day. Happy hour pricing only applies if you cash out before 6pm…. The picture is the soap stain ring from constant water drainage issues. It was taken after the room was cleaned (before I showered). Hilton should send someone from corporate to stay a few nights here. Absolutely the worst Hilton property ever. NEVER AGAIN!!
