  I stayed here recently for a short trip to visit FSU, and overall, it was a pretty solid experience. The location is excellent if you have business at the university literally minutes away, which made moving around super easy. The check-in was smooth, and the staff at the front desk were friendly and quick to help with extra towels and directions. My room was clean, reasonably modern, and the bed was comfortable, which I appreciated after a long day of travel. A few things could be improved you can definitely hear traffic and hallway noise, so if you’re a light sleeper, you might notice it. Breakfast had a decent variety, nothing fancy, but enough to start the day. Wish they kept items stocked a little more consistently, though. Despite the small issues, I’d stay here again. The convenience to campus, cleanliness, and staff made it a good choice for the price.

  I travel weekly for work and will usually stay in one to two different hotels per week. This location was by my least pleasant experience. The woman who check me in was really short and unhelpful. She seemed inconvenienced when I asked questions. Cleanliness of the room was a 6/10. There was dired food on the floor around the trashcan, there was hair on the shower walls and on the floor around tub. There was a dried substance on the nightstand. There was definitely a mold issue going on. From the second I stepped into my room I experienced sinus congestion and a headache. There was strong mildew kind of smell. The road noise is 10/10. There is no sound dampening whatsoever. The hotel is situated right above a major intersection, so you'll be emersed in that. The gym was even worse. There was mold growing all over the water machine and the floor looked like it had weeks of gunk caked on it. At breakfast, most of the tables wabbled and unfortunately for my coworker, her table had a lot of wiggle. Her coffee fell over and spilled onto her backpack. When we told the staff they did nothing about it. It was a mess. Spend your money elsewhere.

  The owner clearly doesn't care about their guests/customers. This was one of the loudest, noisiest rooms I had EVER stayed in with the doors slamming starting around 5:30am. So if you're looking to sleep past 5:30 am, don't stay here, especially not on the ground floor! Also, don't look to use the gym because it's filthy. I brought all of this to the attention of the owner...clearly they don't care. He even said, I don't know why they put you on the first floor, we have construction going on around us and know it's loud when people leave early..really?!?! Then goes to offer me 500pts (which is NOTHING) for my inconvenience. I was there for business and my prior days meetings ran late, then had to be up for the next days meetings and travel back to Tampa...and the one thing you PAY FOR is a good night's sleep....let's give you 500pts to go shut up (basically). What am I going to do, buy me a (wait NOTHING) with that. I/we travel the world, this is unacceptable. However, it seems this may have been a franchised location based on the ownership I saw, sadly often when this is the case the standards just aren't there. We've stayed at IHGs and this certainly didn't meet standards. There are A LOT of hotels in that area of Tallahassee, spend your money elsewhere!
