This property is a crime ridden and suspicious motel (NOT HOTEL). The front desk employee was unprofessional, rude, and appeared to be shouting and using profanity from the back office before eventually coming to assist us. Shortly after checking in, we began noticing several suspicious vehicles in the parking lot, including one that appeared to be bullet-damaged and another with what looked like a fake license plate. My husband, who previously worked in the security field for many years, immediately expressed concern that the environment at this property was unsafe. The room itself was in unacceptable condition. The air conditioning unit was not functioning properly, there was no hot water during our stay, and the room had a foul odor resembling black mold combined with strong chemical cleaning agents seemingly used to mask the smell. The odor was overwhelming and made both of us feel physically unwell during the night. The property itself also appeared filthy and poorly maintained. Later that evening, occupants in neighboring rooms began receiving numerous visitors and appeared to be conducting suspicious activity out of their room. There were groups smoking marijuana on the balcony, constant foot traffic of people coming and going, and loud music and gatherings in the parking lot late into the night. At one point my husband confronted the individuals next door because we simply wanted to sleep. They surprisingly apologized and stated they would move their “business somewhere else.” They had a large quantity of merchandise and appeared to be selling items directly from the room until confronted. We were genuinely concerned for our safety and contacted local police. The officers informed us that they were familiar with certain hotels in the area that have ongoing issues with criminal activity and indicated that this property may be one of them. The next morning the situation continued to deteriorate. The front office was completely unattended during breakfast hours. When someone eventually appeared who seemed to be the breakfast attendant, he quickly left the building and drove away in a vehicle parked on the side of the hotel. We had previously seen this same individual sitting in that vehicle the day before smoking marijuana in an area where the security cameras appear not to function. It was extremely concerning to realize that someone behaving this way appeared to be responsible for food service. The breakfast itself was also unacceptable. The eggs served were clearly spoiled — after taking a bite we immediately had to spit them out due to the taste and smell. Additionally, the property’s security cameras appear ineffective, as they only seem to face the hallways and not the sides of the building or areas of the parking lot where suspicious activity and vehicles were present. After returning home, I reviewed the online reviews for this property and was shocked to see that many other guests have reported similar concerns regarding safety, cleanliness, and management. This indicates that these issues are ongoing and well documented. Please do not stay here if you value your life!

This place is horrible and very unprofessional, I saw kids running around behind the counter while near all types of dangerous cleaning chemicals, I saw the workers going in and out of bedrooms with curtains closed then when they came out of the rooms it appeared as if they had been “sleeping” rather than cleaning…I had to wait for my reservation yet I’m in the parking lot seeing people basically get paid to do nothing on top of it all the lady at the front desk “Herma” can be very abrasive almost to the point of making you feel “unwelcome” but her husband was a nice guy fixed any issue I had with the suite but I don’t recommend this place not even for the price actually especially for the price this place is old and should be torn down and rebuilt to keep up with all the other great motels in the area just my opinion

This place is more of a motel. There were dead roaches on the premises, stains on the carpet and bed. We checked in and was placed in a room on the ground floor. There was a very moldy odor and the bathroom lights did not work. I told reception the place was unsanitary and requested a refund of which they declined. I was moved to another room on the upper floor. This room also had the same issues of moldy odor, and this time no hot water. The floor and bed had stains and it was a very uncomfortable stay. We checked in late in the afternoon and did not have time to find another hotel. The next 2 days we spent most of our time on the road to avoid being in that filthy place which is absolutely a motel. The photos online are misleading and they need a total renovation of that motel. We did not eat the complimentary breakfast because of how unsanitary the place was. This was my worst hotel stay and I would not recommend this place. I am really disappointed with this experience.
