  Undisclosed Parking Fees Charged After Checkout - No Notice or Receipt! I stayed at this property (EVEN Hotel Miami - Doral Area by IHG) from December 16–18, 2025 while attending an event at the nearby Telemundo Center. The hotel is new (built in 2025), and the location was convenient, which makes this experience particularly disappointing. After my stay, I noticed an unexpected $27.82 charge on my credit card with no explanation or receipt. I contacted the hotel on January 7 around midnight and was informed by a front desk representative that the charge was for parking. At no point during check-in was I informed that parking was an additional fee. As someone who travels frequently, hotels that charge for parking typically disclose this clearly at check-in or send a message through Expedia - neither occurred here. I was told the charge was “noted on Expedia,” which I later confirmed shows $13 for secure, covered parking. However: * The parking I used was not covered * The garage required parking on an upper level * The garage entrance was at a steep 45-degree angle * There was no safe pedestrian walkway from the garage to the hotel The conditions did not match what was advertised. When I called back later on January 7 to speak with a manager, I was passed around multiple times - first told to call back for “Melissa,” then told to call again at 4 pm to speak with “Katherine.” No one took ownership of the issue, and no resolution was offered. Most concerning: * No disclosure of the parking fee at check-in * No notification when the charge was applied * No receipt or explanation was sent afterward This lack of transparency feels unprofessional and misleading. I am requesting a refund of the parking charge due to the failure to disclose the fee, inaccurate parking description, and poor follow-up from management. For a new IHG-branded hotel, this experience fell well short of expectations. I would like my $27.82 refunded.

  near the airport, the hotel is clean and beauftiful. The parking is limited because there isn't a lot of parking for the hotel guest's. Service was kindly and friendly. The parking costs 13$ per day. There is free water in the lobby and a coffee bar. Room are cleaned and big.

  El hotel impecable en cuanto a instalaciones y sus habitaciones, nos hospedamos hace aproximadamente un mes, pero no lo recomendaría por el servicio de la barthender, a quien le pedí un mojito y le hice el comentario que le faltaba un poco mas de ron, a lo que me respondió que ella realizo el coctel empleando el jigger, no me gusto su forma de responder, así que le pedí para hablar con su manager, a lo que me respondió que ella era la food and beverage manager, en ese punto mi esposo me hizo señas para dejar hasta allí la conversación

  To whom it may concern, regarding IHG - Even Hotel Miami-Doral services: Last Saturday, we stayed at your hotel for work purposes. When we checked in at midday, we were assigned room 422 and given two key cards. When we went up to the room, it smelled dirty. When we went back down to complain, the front desk attendant kindly assigned us a different room, "608," which did smell clean. In the afternoon, we went out to work and returned around 12:30 or 1:00 AM. At that time, our room key cards didn't work, and when we went down to get new ones, the person at the front desk, "Carlos," who, by the way, refused to give me his last name, told me that he didn't have anyone registered in that room and that he wouldn't give me the key cards. I explained to him that all our belongings were inside the room, and I also explained that they had changed our room earlier, but he ignored me. When we showed him proof of the reservation, he looked for it and found it on a piece of paper, but he insisted that since it didn't appear in his system, he wouldn't give me the access card. That's when we felt obligated to call the police to intervene. In the end, they kept us sitting in the lobby for almost an hour and a half until another person opened the room for us, but they never gave us access cards to the facilities. So, we were essentially trapped inside the room. The next day, when we asked to speak with the managers, none of them would speak to us; they didn't want to talk to us. We demand a response from the hotel chain or IHG representatives. That night, the people at the hotel also tried to call all the hotel management, and NO ONE answered the phone.
