  Everything stink: the lobby, the room, the beds, just smelled… weird. Then, after unpacking and ready to shower before hitting the hay, I found this dirty washcloth hanging from the shower bar. I would have left if my kids were not already sleeping. Also a very large party was booked around our room who were talking at very noisy level from 9:30-10pm keeping us awake — not necessarily the hotels fault but being on the first floor and next to lobby, I would have hoped the front desk would kindly let them know to keep it down. Do not recommend at all.

  I travel from Miami to Stuart often for work and usually stay at another IHG property closer to my office. This time I decided to try something different, and I am so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was different. The hotel was extremely clean, modern, and very well kept, but what really made the experience was the team. Hiren and Henry were absolutely exceptional. They were professional, welcoming, and made me feel genuinely taken care of the entire time. What really stood out was when I found out last minute that I needed to extend my stay by another night. With limited availability, they immediately stepped in and made it happen. No hesitation, no stress. They handled it quickly and made me feel like a priority, which meant a lot. Because of this, this will be the only IHG property I stay at when I am in Stuart moving forward. It is rare to find a hotel that is this well run and backed by people who truly care. Hiren and Henry, thank you again. I truly appreciate you both.

  I’ve stayed at this hotel several times in the past year. And each time it has gotten worse and worse. Vending machines don’t work. Towels were dirty. No water in the rooms. Ice machine didn’t work. I have to come back to the area again next month and I need to find a new place to stay. Too bad this location is so close to everything.

  very very very bad HOTEL towel smell not clean and in the shower there is mold around the shower head and in the room dirty walls an one more thing in the morning there was a lot of roaches around the breakfast area

  We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Stuart for two nights in February and ultimately checked out early due to the totality of issues we experienced. Our original reservation was confirmed under a specific rate. The hotel sent an email stating our reservation would be cancelled at midnight if our credit card was not updated. However, the reservation was cancelled less than 10 minutes after that email was sent — despite us actively communicating our arrival time and immediately working to update a compromised card. We were then forced to rebook at a significantly higher rate. During our stay, ownership came directly to our room multiple times raising his voice and arguing with us about basic requests such as towels and assistance with a clogged toilet. This created an uncomfortable and intimidating environment. When our toilet became clogged around 4:45 PM, we were told to retrieve a shared plunger from the lobby and handle it ourselves because housekeeping ended at 1 PM. The plunger was visibly used and uncovered, and we were required to carry it through the elevator to the third floor. This raised obvious sanitation concerns. We also discovered roaches in the room and documented them with photos. Individually, any one of these issues would be concerning. Combined, the premature cancellation in contradiction of written notice, aggressive owner behavior, sanitation risks, and pest presence made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable staying. We are currently working through corporate channels regarding this matter. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this property.
