We are traveling to the Keys from South Alabama and just needed a place to stay overnight, after traveling 9 hours. I do NOT say this lightly, this motel is VERY clean. Specifically to 150 where we stayed. Looks clean, smells clean and I was pleasantly surprised! Highly recommend if you need a place to stay. I do t normally do motels, I wasn’t thrilled at first. Very clean!!!!

This is a nice clean, decent hotel for a good price. After reading the reviews ahead of my stay, I was unsure of what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and quality of the rooms. The lobby area is beautiful and clean, and it appears that it may have been recently remodeled. The front desk staff members were friendly and helpful when I checked in and out. There is a complimentary continental breakfast offered from 6:30am-9:30am daily (I believe), but I only stayed for one night and was unable to take advantage of it due to my schedule. It would be helpful if breakfast was offered a bit later on weekends, but I realize that this is standard for a continental breakfast at most hotels. The location is about 1 mile from downtown Stuart, and the hotel is easy to get to with plenty of complimentary self-parking available onsite. You can easily park right outside of your room, which makes it convenient to pack and unpack your vehicle and carry it to and from your room. The room was spacious and clean, and it came with a microwave and a mini fridge which was great. Most hotel rooms don't seem to have microwaves anymore (in my experience), so this was a nice plus. One thing I didn't like was that the bathroom sink area did not have a door to separate it from the bedroom, which made it difficult for me to get ready in the morning while my husband was still sleeping, as I didn't want to turn on the bright light. I realize this is a fairly common setup for hotel rooms, so I am not overly concerned about it. I removed one star because the noise from the nearby train was very disruptive all night. The AC unit in our room was also quite noisy, as the compressor kept turning off and on throughout the night, and it made a great deal of noise every time it turned off and on. Other than the noise, this is a decent hotel, although I'm glad I only stayed here for one night.

Very disappointing experience!!! And future guest be aware! Our reservation was booked through Priceline and we simply needed to add a second guest name so the other guest could check in. However, the hotel staff said they could not modify the reservation because it was made through Priceline, while Priceline said the hotel had to do it. As a result, both parties redirected us back and forth, leaving us waiting in the lobby for three hours past midnight without access to the room we had already paid for. This policy gap between Priceline and Best Western puts customers in an unfair position where no one takes responsibility to resolve a simple issue. Waiting two hours for a room because of internal policies is unacceptable customer service! I hope Best Western reviews this process so future guests are not put in the same situation!

I stay at Best Western, Stuart Fla every year. The service is always great. Barb Hurley is very helpful. And Atala keeps a beautiful breakfast buffet; it's always clean and fully stocked. I love staying there! Thank you.
