Daughter wanted to shower & it wasn’t really draining, so I unscrewed the plug and it appears the drain has never had the hair removed. There was more I couldn’t pull out but at least it’s draining now. Super gross! I’m sure they’ll need to snake it soon. Thankfully I have disposable gloves. 🤮 Update: The staff were awesome- super helpful and friendly. Heated pool was fantastic, hot tub great, laundry a little pricey. Love the location. Annoying that it was built for tall people- sink was too high for 5yo to wash her hands without help.

The pool is heated, which was perfect, and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of options. Most of all, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They even gave Christmas presents to my two girls, which truly made our stay extra special and unforgettable. We felt very well taken care of and loved staying here. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Tampa! 🎄✨
- SPStephen PikeDec 21, 20254.0Almost excellent. The hotel meets and exceeds the typical Holiday Inn Express brand. Room was clean, modern, and well designed. Facility and parking were also very good. The location was great! Short drive to the beaches and theres a Walmart across the parking lot. Emily handled both our check in and check out. She was awesome - warm and polite - EXACTLY the person you would want as the face of the organization. The breakfast service, however, was not. On our second morning we found all of the food warmers practically empty. When I tried to politely tell the breakfast person about it I was snarled at, then lectured about the oven capacity. No other concern from her. A simple “sorry about that” would have been acceptable. But being lectured by the person who was supposed to do the job for not having the job done is not good. Recommend some re-training there, or maybe she should get a job better suited to her demeanour - like bill collections or something.
