Wi-Fi doesn't not allow VPN to log in...very inconvenient, moreover if you work remotely. A modern hidden gem! Nicely hidden away from the super busy areas yet close enough to get there. Now they're charging for parking but it can be viewed as reasonable if you intend to walk to the fun rather than suffering it. The bed sheets are divine! Super cozy mattress. Beautiful interiors, nice pool. Note that no room has a bathtub nor is there a spa or jacuzzi...a sauna will be nice. Parking is covered and well lit, although not gated but they generally lock it down late at night. Nice toiletries and very modern yet simple and elegant rooms. Good taste and very affordable for what you get. Breakfast is not crazy expensive but by not including or charging for it in advance you can enjoy bunches around (Cafe Eleven buffets on weekends!) after they stop serving before 10am...

We stayed here on the day after Christmas. It looked like a nice, clean, new hotel. I guess looks can be decieving. Upon arriving I was told there would be a $10 fee to park there. After raising my dissatisfaction, they waived my parking fee. But there would be more to my stay that was very unsatisfory. 1.They charged me a $75 room cleaning fee because I brought my cat. This is the first time I've ever been charged this fee. 2. The room had a sour smell to it. My guess is that they didn't "clean it". I wonder if my fee was used to do that after my stay? 3. The room across the hall has two dogs that barled at every single noise. This went on all night. 4. We had reserved a king sized bed. What we got was two double beds. 5. We sat for almost 15 minutes for the waitress to come take our order for breakfast. We then got up and left. 6. The deadbolt lock on the door was malfunctioning and did not work properly. This made my wife feel very unsafe during the night. In conclusion. I would like my reward points I used for this night to be refunded to my account as the $75 cleaning fee. Reasons being the stay was not what I had reserved, and the room was not clean.

We stayed for night of lights Christmas week and it has been such an easy process. From check in to check out the stay was a breeze. Not noisy at all and still not far from the night of lights. Crossing the bridge only took about 8 minutes. In total walking to get over is about 15-20 minutes walk. Besides location the room is nice and comes equipped with things needed to shower. Hotel is very well maintained.

Rooms are small. Have to use one elevator to access all rooms. Over $100 of undisclosed extra charges at time of check in. Which included a parking fee not disclosed at time of booking and a pet fee that was double what I was quoted at time of booking. This is a 20 min walk to George Street just so its noted for future people who book. Very loud bar at night located under the hotel which stays open quite late and patrons smoke by the hotel under the rooms. Would never stay again.

Just stayed at the voco for two nights. Things that I liked: - Service staff were all very friendly and helpful. - The hotel itself was very nice and the rooms were modern and spacious. - The gym was pretty good - had nice weights and pretty much everything you need. Thing to note: The location isn't in the historic district - it's just about a 10-11 minute walk. I personally didn't mind this because it was nice to be 'away' from things - but just be aware. It IS close to an incredible restaurant called Llama! Some things that could have been improved. 1. The photos of the pool do not represent what it actually is. The photos make it look huge, but in reality, it is TINY. I was shocked when I saw the actual pool. I book hotels with pools because I love to swim and when I saw it, I was so disappointed. I'd call it more like a wading pool. 2. Our room had a bit of a musty smell to it. We didn't mention it to the staff, since I didn't want to change rooms. 3. The breakfast was NOT good. We ordered an egg breakfast croissant sandwich to go. When we opened it up, the croissant looked like it was the super cheap, store, bought, frozen kind. It looked really unappetizing. They also gave a very small portion of eggs. In addition, they added a 20% mandatory gratituity, even though we did a take out order.
