  I had a very disappointing experience with Holiday Inn Express & Suites Spring Hill, FL. I was explicitly told a refund would be issued, yet it was never processed. After disputing the charge, the bank sided with the hotel based on the information they provided, leaving me responsible for a charge that was supposed to be refunded. Attempts to resolve this directly with the property have been unsuccessful, with little accountability or clear documentation provided. This situation is especially concerning as the charge is tied to a corporate card. I am now escalating this through IHG corporate and expect a full review of the transaction, including proper documentation and justification of the charges. I would advise future guests to carefully review all billing details and keep records of any commitments made by staff.

  Friendly staff but that’s where it ends the elevator hadn’t work for weeks according to front desk as soonest I walked in there was a hole in the wall. The bathroom was dirty my wife and I cleaned it ourselves the soap dispenser bottle full of water down soap. The mattress was just the worst part it’s like sleeping on the floor shower head was partially clogged

  Update: welp, we ended up at this hotel after all for the second half of our stay in the area, after an unfortunate rental experience. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, and breakfast was filled, hot, and quality was standard of a free hotel breakfast. The lack of an elevator was annoying but the staff did the best they could with room assignment. Laundry machines were a bit pricey at $4/loads but worked well for the couple loads we needed to run. 6year old enjoyed a swim in the pool but it was a bit chilly for us adults. Overall we needed up wishing we had stayed here our whole stay in Spring Hill. ——- Original review: I got a notification well enough in advance to cancel, but it doesn’t really seem they’re working “as quickly as possible” to fix their elevator. Reviews date back several months at least. Given the lack of options in the area, I’m glad I was able to find another option!

  Update: Been 3 days, management STILL hasn’t reached out to correct this issue, and the employee that charged us illegally is arguing on our TikTok about it! Reserved our room online, only to get here at 11pm to find out the elevators are down and they are trying to place my 100% disabled veteran husband in a handicap room on the third floor. Had a conversation with the night attendant about us looking for another hotel, she agreed and then immediately authorized our card for almost $500 leaving us stuck and laughed about it while telling us she did it after agreeing to let us check for another hotel. The handicap room was in fact not fully accessible. The wheelchair can’t fit between the front door and bathroom door to get out into the rest of the room. Horrible design and worse employees. The attendant promised us the manager Tracy would be reaching out the next morning and would be in before 7. We postponed going back to the hospital for 2 hours to meet with Tracy and to get this taken care of. It’s now been 48 hours, no one has reached out, and Tracy never happened to be at work like we were told MULTIPLE times. I have over 20 minutes of ridiculous footage from this hotel and I will be sharing it across ALL platforms of social media.
