- DBDonna BarryJan 3, 20263.0Other than not having a hot shower, everything else was good. Either our faucet was broken or maybe they lock the spigot so it only goes about 1/4 of the way to hot. We ran the water 15 minutes before it got warm (no joke!!) and the random spells of ice cold water! Day 1 - it might be me; day 2 - inquired at the front desk. The response was “weeell, I’m supposed to tell you that’s normal…”; day 3 - I cranked on that puppy and then had a heck of a time getting the water to turn off! (Oops!) Ultimately, it was no better! I was a little annoyed about the USB only working when the lights are on. (We brought USC chargers. Went to Walmart to get a USB.). And very annoyed by the alarm clock going off multiple times the first night (unplugged that!) Breakfast was average, pretty good selection (eggs, gravy/biscuits, sausage, toast, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, yogurt, apples, bananas, cereals, pancake machine was broken after 1st day). Suggest to get your drinks first cause food doesn’t stay warm very long. I’m not a huge fan of hotels, but this was clean which made me feel a little more comfortable. Close to Silver Springs (could have walked there!).

In the morning, there was a very loud noise that woke us up at 6:30 AM, which we heard from the rooms and the hallway. The hotel is located right on the highway, so we also heard the traffic very loudly. The breakfast was very meager; we couldn't find anything to eat, and the food was simply inedible

Our room was nice and very clean. The cold shower unfortunately was not pleasant. Not sure what that was about. It was late and we didn’t call the desk. We would visit again if ever in the area. Hopefully with a hot shower next time 😆
