One of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever experienced due to cleanliness.
We stayed here for a soccer tournament and booked three nights. The conditions were so bad that we strongly considered leaving immediately and ultimately checked out early and moved to the Westin the next day.
We were moved rooms twice, and both rooms were extremely dirty. There were stains throughout the carpet, visible grime in the bathroom and tub, mold, and even live spiders in the bed. The rooms were also very humid, to the point where it felt unhealthy to breathe…genuinely concerning.
In addition, there appeared to be long-term occupants living at the hotel, wandering the halls at all hours. The overall environment felt unsafe and uncomfortable.
The only positive was the front desk staff - they were polite, helpful and clearly doing their best in a very difficult situation.
This property needs to be completely gutted and renovated. As it stands today, I would strongly recommend not staying here.

This past Saturday, I had one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and that’s saying something. I’ve stayed at Holiday Inns before, so I walked in expecting the usual clean, decent, family-friendly environment. Instead, this location felt more like a chaotic pit stop with zero control.
From the moment we arrived, the lobby was crowded, loud, and full of people drinking their own alcohol right out in the open in front of young kids. I had two teenagers with me, and honestly, it didn’t feel safe or appropriate. There were also groups of unsupervised teens yelling, pushing each other, and slamming doors and walls. Not exactly the welcome you hope for after a long drive.
We booked two rooms. When we opened the first one, the nightmare began. The bed was filthy and undone, as if housekeeping never even touched the room. They moved us to the third floor, telling us we couldn’t get rooms close together if we wanted to move upstairs. The room we ended up in smelled like mold, but we were exhausted and didn’t want to deal with the lobby chaos again. The guy at the front desk mentioned the hotel had just been acquired and they “didn’t know what was going on.” Look, that’s not the guest’s problem, and it didn’t feel like they made much effort to keep things under control. The only person who showed absolute professionalism was the manager, Joe. He apologized and genuinely tried to help, but even with his efforts and free water, the situation remained horrible and worsened. Then came more issues: in the kids’ room, the bathtub was filled with standing water, and the bottom looked rusted. Completely unacceptable. In our room (117), the heater didn’t work at all. It was extremely cold, and we ended up sleeping in jackets like we were camping, not staying at a hotel we paid good money for. Meanwhile, the kids’ room (313) had heat, thankfully, but ours was freezing. (first floor) On top of that, we received two random phone calls during the night, with no one on the line, most likely from the unsupervised teens roaming around. And around 5 a.m., someone tried to open our door. If the door hadn’t been locked properly, who knows what would’ve happened. Absolutely unacceptable. At this point, this needs to be escalated to Expedia, to the franchise owners, whoever will actually take responsibility. This place is nowhere near the standards Holiday Inn should have. It’s rundown, unsafe, and clearly not being appropriately managed. They even admitted they need renovations, but that doesn’t excuse the condition we were put in or what we had to deal with. We paid for a safe, clean stay, and instead we got chaos and discomfort. I truly hope this review reaches the right people because this was not worth the money, not worth the stress, and definitely not what I ever expected from a Holiday Inn.is unfriendly and unsafe to even go by here.
