- JCJulija CartelliOct 8, 20251.0Our family of five stayed in this hotel for 1 night. The room was comfortable and spacious with 2 queen beds and a sleeper couch. In the morning we had to leave with my sons to their sport event around 6am. I left my 16 year old daughter sleeping in the room alone. To my shock, I received a call from her around 9am saying that a man scanned his key and opened the room door. She said he didn't look like a room service. He didn't knocked on the door before opening. Thank God he saw her, said sorry and left. Right away I called the front desk who assured me it wasn't the room service as we were still shown "checked in" in the system. Then it's even worse that a stranger could open our room door with his key! When I went back to the hotel, I requested to have the video footage checked to see who it was and get some answers how it could happen. The manager wasn't on the premises as it was Sunday. The front desk lady said the manager will call me the next day. She never did! I called myself and was transferred to the manager's voice mail. I left my message but 2 weeks later, I still haven't heard from her. It's terrifying to know that somebody can just unlock your hotel room with their key! That's why I don't recommend this hotel. I don't appreciate lack of transparency and communication.
