The hotel could definitely use an upgrade and not just slap some more paint on the walls and baseboards either. I read some other reviews about a mildew smell but I did not have that problem. Never noticed a foul smell at all. The only things I noticed that I found issues with were… 1. When you flushed the toilet you had to lift up on the toilet tank lid or the piece on the inside would do it for you and the tank lid would come crashing down and sounded like you broke it. 2. When I took a shower the shower curtain was to short and resulted in A LOT of water on the ground. The tub drain would clog then unclog then clog. So half the time you stood in water. 3. They definitely need to hire a new painter because the 20 layers of paint they have on the walls now has a very messy over the lines look! Never had any problems with front desk, smell or parking.

One bedroom suite doesn’t have a door on the room. The room smelled musty. There was a dehumidifier that helped. The fridge was dirty and smelled moldy! Staff was friendly when we arrived but became less friendly when we asked about the door. Also TV didn’t work (the internet was down) We received a call while out for dinner stating that everything was fixed and should be up and running when we returned from dinner. Got back from dinner and tv and internet still down. Asked again about and told it was still down. Told them we received a call stating it was fixed and the response was “I didn’t call anyone!”

The evening clerk was very nice, friendly and helpful. The room was a double queen but just not real clean. Our entry door did not close well. It was open when we got there and left open all day after the housekeeper had been there. We also had some kind of tiny bugs in the sink. We washed them down the drain but more returned. Just not the cleanest hotel from the lobby restroom to the room.

You know I don’t leave many reviews but I am today! This review is being written by Mrs. Miller- Gonzalez I booked through hotels.com for a room I was supposed to pay 173 for. I added 4 adults and two children, I also have a toddler. My best friend also came and brought her daughter whom I included in the reservation. At first glance we were happy; there were two bedrooms and a pull out couch, so the room was big enough to fit us all. Then my husband(Mr.Gonzalez) noticed the dirt on the floor and sheets, issues with the drywall behind the door and dirty sheets. He went downstairs to tell the staff who offered us another room but we would have to be separated. I have a family of special needs, and did not want to be separated from my family and best friend as we need each other’s help. In the morning, I noticed the mold in the door. I was livid. We got offered a free breakfast. The breakfast was lukewarm and the food wasn’t good. We were told we had to call hotels.com for a refund. Hotels.com told us that we were offered a “presidential” suite. We were not, and if we were there was bad communication about the type of room we would have been upgraded to. The manager was nice enough but we’ve been getting the “run around”by hotels.com. Would not recommended. I work very hard during the week and just wanted a break and now I’ve got to play the long game for a refund- The Miller-Gonzalez family
