- TMTyson MeadlockMar 1, 20261.0My wife spent weeks reading reviews on a place to stay while in town for the Daytona 500. Is it in a nice area? Yes, unfortunately it's ran by slum lords. Room was infested with ants, door handle to restroom wouldn't work. We brought this to the attention of management immediately and simply ask to comp one night, only to be met with well the ants didn't do any harm to yourself or your property so tuff luck basically. The sanitation level for the free breakfast is tailgate level at best. The prep chef or custodian smelled horrific and looked like he climbed out of a dumpster prior to setting up breakfast. I have attached videos of the lack luster facility. The manager hid in the back when I tried one last time to speak with him in regards to the issues we had faced during our 3 night stay. I looked him up on linked in so I know I saw him earlier that morning, but was told he wasn't available. Best advice I could give is a bird bath at the Chic Fillet next door and sleep in your car. You'd be better off and no ants. Stay away from this place unless you want to sleep with critters during your vacation. I didn't have any photos I could upload but I have a nice video of the critters taking over the bathroom sink and vanity.

First there were no eggs and at this hotel no creamer. I understand pre-made eggs from a supplier is more difficult to deal with, but creamer? This hotel is 1.4 miles from a Publix. I guess if you let me know that you are not supplying half and half I can go to the Publix myself and bring my own creamer. I just need to know if this now the new policy...bring your breakfast. If it is, let me know so I can stay somewhere cheaper and go to McDonalds for breakfast.
