Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express St. Augustine North was really great!
I myself work at the Holiday Inn Stuttgart (Germany) and was really impressed by the cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff, and the delicious breakfast buffet.
Everyone was very attentive and the buffet was fresh and delicious! (especially the warm cinnamon rolls).
I would stay here again anytime :).

No sé por dónde comenzar!
Lamentablemente, nuestra experiencia en este hotel fue muy mala desde el momento en que llegamos. El trato del personal fue desagradable y poco cordial (Andrew
se llamaba) lo cual marcó negativamente toda la estadía.
Las habitaciones fueron entregadas tarde, sin mayor explicación ni disculpas. Además, nos asignaron una habitación con puerta comunicante con otra, y desde las 6:00 a. m. nuestros vecinos fueron extremadamente ruidosos, lo que hizo imposible descansar.
El estacionamiento fue fatal, prácticamente sin puestos disponibles.
El desayuno fue realmente horrible: la máquina de jugos y de agua estaba dañada, no había agua, el jugo de manzana era de pote y estaba caliente, la variedad era mínima (solo huevo, salchicha y waffle), no había platos, y el servicio en el área del desayuno fue tétrico y poco atento.
Además, en una época de frío como esta, olvídate de café y agua caliente para un té disponible 24 horas como suele ser en otros hoteles, aquí cierran todo cuando termina el horario del desayuno hasta el otro día.
En general, una experiencia muy negativa, muy lejos de lo que se espera de un hotel. No lo recomendaría y definitivamente no volvería.

My husband and I booked three nights at this hotel to enjoy a long weekend in St. Augustine. We noticed ants in our room immediately, so requested a room change, which they promptly did. We held our breath however, because our first room was 206 and they moved us to 306, so we wondered if we would have the same issue. The second room initially seemed fine, so we unpacked our things and went out to enjoy the “Nights of Lights.” We also had stopped at a German bakery along the way and had $30 of pastries in a box that we placed on a high shelf, just in case. On returning to our room about 10:30pm, we noticed ants again, everywhere, on the bedside table, the bathroom sink, bathroom wall, and kitchenette counter. I went to the front desk again, but they informed us there was nothing they could do as they were fully booked for the night. We felt like we were stuck for the night, so went back to the room and sat down to eat a pastry only to discover the box was crawling with ants! We packed up our things and went back downstairs and informed the desk it was worse than we realized and we were leaving. Since we booked through a third party, they informed us we had to contact the third party to request a refund. We made the three hour drive home at midnight. The next morning we contacted the third party, who then reached out to the hotel directly to get approval for the refund. The agent came back and said the hotel was only willing to refund us for two nights, not three! I asked to escalate the issue with a supervisor and explained that we should not be charged for a room we did not spend the night in. She called the hotel again and said the hotel was firm about only refunding us for two nights. Thankfully the third party agreed to refund us the other night, which they certainly did not have to do. It appears this is an ongoing problem, because I have now seen another review with complaints of ants and the hotel being unwilling to refund them as well. So not only is there an ant infestation, but there is also a lack of basic customer service from management. DO NOT stay at this hotel ever!

Este hotel esta muy bonito, las habitaciones muy limpias, la ubicacion si esta un poco retirado del Centro, pienso que el servicio debe mejorar mucho, me realizaron un cobro por encima del costo de lo ofrecido aparte me bloquearon 50usd los cuales no se han reembolsado algo que deberia ser automatico, siendo nuevo miembro de su cadena pienso deberian tener un mejor servicio, lo pensaria en hospedarme aqui.

I booked this hotel through booking.com, my family arrived late in the evening and when we got in the room there was damage throughout. When we reportred it to the front desk they offered to take half off one night. The next morning we woke up with hundreds of ants throught out our 4th floor room, getting into our stuff and my sons snacks on the table.
The hotel front desk rep said "well you're already getting a half refund for 1 night so what else do you want me to do?"
I stated i wanted a refund for the second night and since I booked through a third party they said they couldn't do that and to call them to dispute it. I said a half off refund just as the night before would be fine so i can just move on.
she said " well i get off in 30 min so you can just sit in the lobby and wait for a manager but I'm not sure when they will be in"
We did not have the time to wait and stay, when I contacted booking they showed the hotel did not give any form of refund at the end. I have been back and forth with them and booking since the hotel will not take responsiblity for their room. Highly recommend avoiding this hotel.
