  The positives of this place are that the rooms are very clean, the location is just a block away from the beach, and service was very friendly. However. The walls are extremely thin and noise suppression is terrible. We had the misfortune of staying while there was a frat party upstairs and you could hear EVERYTHING (yes I mean everything 🤢). I also felt that not enough was being done to remedy the situation as all of the other guests were complaining about the noise and the trash from the party upstairs. Parking is also extremely limited and you will have to pay per vehicle per day. As another review pointed out, this is basically a glorified motel. I would only recommend this location once they work on noise suppression and perhaps a better parking solution.

  Wonderful experience. Staff was wonderful and the breakfast was good. Limited outlet plugs near the beds but it's fine. 5 stars!

  The musty smell ruined my stay. The room was very clean, beds comfortable, but the smell was so strong. The bathroom door was a sliding barn door style - I prefer the privacy of a traditional door. Also of note, they were leaf blowing the parking lot at 8am, and it was LOUD. We were up, but - if anyone was trying to relax and sleep in, that wasn't happening. Staff was friendly. Easy walk to the beach. Great price. But I would not stay here again.

  The rooms are nice and cleaned daily! The rooms look like they’ve been remodeled recently and are nice. The pool is not heated, but that did not stop my kid. The jacuzzi was nice and warm. The st. Augustine trolly picks up right in front of the hotel. You can get trolly tickets discounted on booking.com. The beach is just a block away with several beach accesses to choose from. Parking is $15 per day but so is almost every hotel in the area. Lots of great restaurants walking distance from hotel.

  I don’t usually complain about hotels and didn’t have high expectations for a best western but this was a mess. It started out with the evening front desk person announcing our room number while only my girlfriend was inside with men behind her in line. The bathroom door wouldn’t close, the toilet didn’t flush properly and there was mold on the caulk around the tub. I wouldn’t have written this review if that had been everything that went wrong. Room 107 has a weird “creaking” pipe noise that went on all night long and we couldn’t sleep. Their solution when I brought this up was to remove the cost of parking? I hope this review atleast helps them get the room right.
