- RTRick Templeton4 days ago5.0We stayed for several days as our home is still being renovated after Hurricane Helene. All the staff were very nice but we have to single out one staff in particular. Shannon B. Who we first met working the overnight shift at the desk. We traveled with our 13 yo Golden Retriever Noel. Several nights as early as 3 or 4 am while walking Noel we were greeted by Shannon with a smile and pleasant demeanor. One morning we unfortunately had to rush our pet Noel to a local Vetrinary ER. I was distraught because Noel is almost 14. The care and concern shown by Shannon B. helped my wife and I to cope with the stress and anxiety we were feeling. She even said a prayer for Noel and for us and Noel has made good recovery from her health scare that morning. Being far from home the care and concern Shannon and others showed for our ailing pet made us feel so good. Thanks to all the desk staff and your other staff who made us feel at home while we were there.

There aren’t words to describe enough the goodness this team has; they are truly and authentically incredible. My family had been displaced due to a water leak and this safe space became our home away from home. From unexpected displaced birthdays to unexpected sudden deaths to unexpected hospitalizations, through thick and thin, Candlewood was there for us. Not only is this hotel clean, safe, and comfortable, but also well kept, organized, and maintained. The courteous hospitality, genuine kindness, and empathetic nature of service this staff of amazing humans will leave you in awe and put you at ease. Family friendly, dog friendly… great for short or long term stay… Couple, single, and any stage inbetween friendly. Go ahead and book! You found the right place.

This is more suited for extended stay travelers. Kitchenette with full size fridge and free laundry. Don't waste your money on a king suite with balcony. It's just a view of trees on the back lot. Plus the lack of an elevator limits use of any of the 4 balcony rooms.
