Please check on all amenities before you go, this resort is still under construction. I was there in March, 2026. There is only one restaurant open, and it was understaffed and overcrowded, the website advertised multiple places to eat. Food there was good. Lucie’s was not open even though advertised that it was open. There was only two bars open, website advertised 3 were open. The whirlpool by the main pool was closed all week with no explanation. I asked concierge and they didn’t know why it was closed. Rooms are big, which is great. We had three rooms and two of the three need some touch up work done to complete. Rooms are clean for the most part, we had one issue and it was resolved thru a manager. Two of the three rooms we had had hair dryers, bottled water and daily housekeeping, the one other did not. Price is high for not getting all amenities advertised. Employees are trying their best. Daily activities were great. Paying for parking $15/day is terrible after the price you pay for a resort not completed. Grounds were clean. I do think it will be nice when completed.

I am only on the 3rd day of our stay so I will update at the end. But so far it is very disappointing. Our room was NOT clean when we arrived! Our socks got dirty walking on the floor! And it was NOT stocked with supplies, not even coffee or Kleenex. AND the absolute worst thing was…. They DON’T ANSWER THE PHONE!!! I finally called reservations and asked a manager to call the resort! Because our room STILL had not been cleaned. Eventually guest services called and our room was cleaned in the afternoon but I still didn’t get Kleenex. And now it is 6:20 and there is nowhere to get coffee! I don’t want to make my own in a little pot in my room! But on the positive side I asked for a light (there are no lamps, no light over the table!) but the maintenance person found me a light! And all the waitresses and bar- tenders are wonderful! The food is a buffet but it is hot, fresh, and there is a variety. It’s a lovely setting and our room is great, once it was cleaned. More to come.

We had a great 6 night stay. Some highlights included kayaking, jet skiing, & live music for most of the day! The steel drummer at the pool was 👌. The musician at night was also fun! The food for breakfast, lunch, dinner was great. Only suggestion would be some of the food needed to be refilled more frequently. Also, unfortunately guests were leaving cups in a lot of areas of the resort so someone to clean up more frequently is also needed. The kind lady making omelets in the morning was great as well as the man making fish daily. His food was 👌. Our kids really enjoys the different varieties of steak daily. We appreciated the nachos at night and the snacks in between lunch and dinner! All of the staff at the coffee cafe were friendly and the drinks are good! We also enjoyed the drinks from all 3 bars, Mojitos & Old Fashions! One suggestion would be to add on smoothies at the coffee cafe for guests. And to have some crunchy snacks available at the bar areas such at pretzels/chips ect. Our last night there was a bad storm & the staff seemed to handle it very well when there were complaints of leaks and damage to the beach area was already marked off in the morning. Over-all we would love to return!

All the staff were extremely nice. The food was good for the most part. There was just one day that the didn't have the best selection of food to choose from. There was great entertainment throughout the day. The resort was very relaxing and I really appreciated the adult pool. We did get bit up extremely bad sitting outside at night. I don't like pesticides but maybe that would help control the mosquitoes, midges, and spiders. There were brown spiders everywhere. Especially in our rooms. I even saw a spider jump in the slushy machine outside when the bartender opened it. She said "omg there's so many jumping spiders here" and then just shut it in. If course we saw it spinning around in the machine and she just went on about her business. I think the property would be even better if they updated the bathrooms. They were so dated and I strongly dislike bathrooms with shower curtains. There was a dark red and brown ring at the bottom of the shower curtain. It looked very disgusting. I do appreciate the fact that I did see staff actually removing blankets and pillows to be laundered. I've never saw that at any other resort so that was much appreciated. It would have been nice if our floor was cleaned before arrival. The previous guest left things behind under the couch beds and the floors needed a good mopping. Overall the experience was great just please do something about those bathrooms and water pressure. Otherwise we may be back once you've opened the other restaurants in the property.

We were supposed to check into the resort Sunday 3/29 at 4pm but we made the drive faster than planned. We called the reservation number Saturday 3/28 around noon to see about adding another night onto our stay since we would be arriving Saturday 3/28 around at 11pm and were told it would be $500 to add another night so we started to look at other places for our first night. During our search we decided to call the front desk of the resort around 6pm to see if they could pro-rate another night since we wouldn't be getting there till nearly midnight and wouldn't have been there to use the amenities offered during the day. The receptionist we spoke to said it would be $589 for another night. I asked if there were other options because we wouldn't be getting there until nearly midnight and that's when she told me there was an option for an early check in if we got there after midnight, that it would be $50. Awesome- I told her we would be there after midnight then as that was a no brainer to save some money. We then arrived around 1am and when checking in we were informed by the receptionist that it was not just $50 like we were told, it was $50 per adult and $25 per child- it was still cheaper than staying somewhere else or paying full price for an extra night, but not what we were told and very misleading. The receptionist then informed us someone was already in our room and she would have to find another room to put us in- why wasn't this mentioned when we called 7 hours prior when we arranged an early check in? The receptionist found us a room and upon our first steps into the room we noticed it was dirty- pieces of trash on the floor, hair in the shower, sink, and bed, pubes on the toilet, dust everywhere, safe was upside down and didn't work, screen door broken to our balcony, no bedding for the pull out beds. Why were we put in a room that hadn't been serviced between stays? We loaded our exhausted babies back into the car and went back to the front desk where the manager ended up taking up a housekeeping cart and just changed out our bedding for the night so we could sleep and said he would get house keeping to service the room first thing in the morning- that he was not a housekeeper. We woke up and called the front desk to let them know we were heading to breakfast and the night manager said housekeeping would service our room ASAP since we were placed in a dirty room, if they could arrange that. We got back to our room after breakfast to a still dirty room. We went to the front desk and spoke to a manager who took our concerns more seriously (I wish I could remember his name, he was tall with red hair), and moved us to a new room. He even walked to the room with us to look it over first to ensure it was clean. The food was good- they had a wide variety of options. We built a relationship with two lovely servers during our stay- we also had one once that touched our babies head and face and said she was going to take him home with her? Weird. The drinks were good- slow service most times at the bar The hot tub was closed our entire stay (3/28-4/3) The pool was dirty with debris and hairballs that looked like someone just cleaned out their brush and dropped it in there. The elevator was tiny (housekeepers struggled to get their carts in and out) and out of order multiple times during our stay- often times with no sign up. We brought our stroller everywhere for our 2 children (2 and under) so we had to carry that up and down the stairs- which was whatever.. until it came time to check out and we had all of our belongings loaded up in the stroller and on one of their luggage carts and the elevator was out of order with no sign on it again- but this time we couldn't just carry the full stroller and cart with two babies. We asked a couple employees to help- which they did and ended up breaking something in our belongings. Overall this place has potential but needs to train their employees better and prioritize getting things serviced (hot tub, elevator....and maybe rooms before putting customers in them?)
