I will put zero stars if I could . I very upset with my experience at this hotel. I expected a comfortable and welcoming stay, but instead I encountered several issues that made it very stressful and disappointing. I booked a room at this hotel upon checking in. I was told there will be a $75 fee for my dog which is a service animal and then an another $200 deposit fee for our service dog that my card will be charged. This is outrageous. I asked the front desk will they please cancel my reservation because where did these fees come from? when I got home, I was still being charged for a reservation, saying it hotel policy that I pay even if I didn’t stay. I never got my money back and I was unaware of the hidden fees. I tried to call and speak to the manager several times. I can hear people laughing in the background as if it was a joke for me calling in with a complaint . More importantly the building is going through some type of construction and has no hazardous signs anywhere around the location. It is not safe the carpet in the lobby reeked. Very unprofessional at this location.

My kids and I had originally booked a room at a different hotel that didn’t feel safe, clean, or family friendly. We ended up leaving and driving to Hampton Inn and were able to book a room without a problem. We’ve stayed here before, as well as a location in Arizona several times, and even while under construction and renovating, this hotel is clean, the staff is kind and friendly, it feels safe and comfortable, and high quality. The renovations did not hinder our vacation in any way, and after hearing why I had to book a last minute room, they even checked in with us and made us feel so welcome. Lesson learned on that other place, and loyalty solidified for Hampton Inn and Suites.

I travel for work and considered booking this location for the next few weeks, however, after reading all the latest reviews I will not even consider this location. By the numbers, Google reviews tend to be very accurate, sometimes there are just outliers, but when there is something that's this consistent I will pass!!

This is my 3rd time staying here for out of town work. Its currently under remodel but what has been done so far makes it feel like a brand new hotel. The rooms are always clean and spacious. The services is alawsy excellent. The breakfast is good. Highly recommend staying here. Oh and its easy access to the interstate with all kinds of stores and restaurants within minutes. Thank you staff and owners of Hampton Inn & Suites Port St. Lucie!

There has been a stop work order here since December 10th of 2025 issued by city, todays date is Oct 19, 2025. Do not stay here. You smell mildew and musty everything when you walk in. Not a safe place to stay healthwise. The staff are also not informed about what is going on. Do not support this stewardship of a public lodging facility. Not good.
