The manager wanted me to provide her with my CC info over the phone (I was not comfortable with) so she could check me in. According to her that was the only way they would hold my room. Then learned later from another employee that they are not allowed to take CC info over the phone. The PM Manager was not helpful at all. She actually directed me to the overnight staff who was not a manager and had no authorization to make any decisions. So on Thanksgiving night I had to drive hours to arrive at almost 3am so I would not lose my reservation and forfeit my prepaid reservation for 2 nights. I'm so disappointed. Being a former employee of IHG I'm embarrassed for this location. 👎 I feel bad for the overnight staff person who was left to deal with this. She was still more helpful than her superior. Smh
