Just got off the Disney Treasure. Not the best experience. The “Disney elements” like characters, decorations and shows were normal Disney excellence but the ship design itself is problematic. The main dining rooms are all very cramped. The servers are continually bumping into you as they navigate the rooms. The food was ok at best but not what you would expect for the cost of the trip. Disney really needs to rethink this one.

We love DCL! The two complaints I would have to say would be that 75% of the cast members at the port when you trying to board are rude. This is our 4 th cruise with DCL. One on the Fantasy, two on the Wish and now the Treasure and it has been the same experience at the port. The second thing would be the in person muster drill. The majority of cruise lines have switched to digital. However with DCL you’re having to waste 45 minutes of your life that you will never get back because you have to find the location sit there till they get their act together, then file out like a herd of cattle to the stairwells and elevators. Between the ECV joyriders who can’t drive them to the strollers with the parents who are just as bad it’s just a bad experience. Other than those two items we love them!

The worst cruise line ever. Went on Disney Treasure brand new ship and you’re supposed to be all happy and excited when you walk on and they call your family name, but instead my jaw hit the floor because they hand me an itinerary change. We were supposed to go to the US Virgin Islands and the British Virgin Islands and they changed it to Cozumel Mexico because of the hurricane. I get it’s not Disney’s fault because of the weather however it’s their fault on how they handle the situation and we should’ve been told before we got on the ship. The ship should’ve been called Disney GREED because they’re greedy. It’s all about money. They gave us no compensation whatsoever. We spent about $10,000 to go to Cozumel Mexico, which is ridiculous and unacceptable! They should’ve compensated everybody. I will never do another Disney cruise ever. I have been on hundreds of cruise ships and Disney is the worst and the most expensive. Not happy with how Disney handled the situation.

Embarkation and disembarkation were smooth and quick; we just had to follow the simple instructions. The Disney Magic provided top-notch customer service; the ship was clean and well-maintained. Highlights included awesome room service, involved management, classic decor, and fun adult activities. The excellent dining staff was remarkably diligent with food allergies, and we appreciated the main dining room being open for breakfast and lunch most days. Cruise Director Joul was very interactive, and the trick or treat event was fun for all.
Lighthouse Cay was beautiful, offering ample beach, umbrellas, and wildlife. Fish viewing from the pier was a bonus. We especially valued the cold towels and the guest wagons.
Areas for Improvement: The rigid rotational dining was restrictive; "Pirate Night" was excessively loud and uncomfortable. The long walk at Lighthouse Cay and the shuttle were notable negatives.
VERDICT: I would only cruise with Disney again with a grandchild.

Returned 18th October from a 7 night cruise on the Disney Treasure.
This is our 6th or 7th cruise with Disney, and have certainly noticed the drop in standards across the ship.
The quality and choice of food is nowhere near as good as it was previously, and our friends who have done a dozen or so Disney Cruises agreed.
We would also have preferred a true buffet style restaurant, as it's very uncomfortable to have to ask for more, where it seems that the standard breakfast serving is one sausage and two rashers of bacon. I have no desire to act out a role in the Oliver! musical.
The staff at Minnie's pizza place on deck 11 didn't seem particularly organized, and quite frankly, looked really miserable and obviously didn't want to be there, not the Disney experience at all!
We didn't particularly like the layout of the Disney Treasure either with even less open deck space allotted to adults only than on her sister ships. The atrium / main hall was a major disappointment, with very little seating, probably due to it being more of a character photo spot than anything else, with the lines for the restaurant and photos becoming confused.
It's small thing, but having prepaid our gratuities, I was somewhat annoyed that gratuities are not included for alcohol at dinner time, is it so much more work to pour a beer than serve the 6 soft drinks for the other people on the table?
We recently sailed with MSC Cruises in one of their Yacht Club suites, with a butler, and that was far cheaper than this Disney cruise so we'll be cruising with them in future.
