  Rooms are unacceptable water pressure and prevalent at this location if fully booked clearly they have a greater infrastructure problem they failed to deal with. All the USB outlets don't work in the room. Still charged me for the full night, is ridiculous when the room provided is unacceptable.I would never return I was able to find another hotel thankfully but not something I need to be doing on vacation. Condition of room, being offered another room would not of solved the problem because they admitted that water pressure was issue. The coffee machine in room was also broken.

  Staff is very nice, always a great experience dealing with Sharmain, Nicole, Geri, and Simone. Housekeeping and maintenance staff are nice and do a great job. Clean atmosphere, nice area and close to Broward and Sawgrass malls. Restaurants across the street.

  I booked a room on 3/14/26 for the same night through HotelTonight. Before booking, I called the hotel and spoke with Shakira to confirm that a late check-in around 3:00 AM would be okay. She assured me it would be, noting I might just need to call due to their audit at that time. Based on that, I proceeded with the booking and received a confirmation. When I arrived at the hotel at 3:00 AM, I was told there was no room available for me. Shakira immediately asked if I had booked through Hotel Tonight, and when I confirmed, she explained that they had been overbooked and she had already turned away about 15 other guests that night. At no point was I offered any assistance or alternative solution just that there was nothing they could do. I then contacted Hotel Tonight, who informed me this was due to a lack of inventory management on the hotel’s end. Unfortunately, this left me stranded during Spring Break in the Miami area, when hotels are fully booked. As a solo female traveler, being left without accommodations at 3:00 AM was not only stressful but also extremely unsafe. To make matters worse, Holiday Inn has taken no accountability. They directed me back to Hotel Tonight, while Hotel Tonight stated it was the hotel’s responsibility. From my understanding, in situations like this, the hotel is supposed to “walk” guests to another property if they are overbooked. This was never offered. Overall, this was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer care is unacceptable. I would strongly caution others before booking here, especially through third-party platforms.

  We stayed a few nights, The hotel is in a very good location and there is plenty of parking. Que room was clean, but the smell of Lysol was so strong that it was impossible to stay inside, we had to get an air purifier to try make it better. It was a bit sketchy during the night, a few people outside the second reception smoking green and drinking (other guests). Other than that it was fine.

  This is my go-to hotel when I'm in Plantation visiting family I just read booked some more rooms with the help and Nicole at the front desk very nice Charming young lady who helped me make sure all my reservations were set for the month of June I'll be calling back to speak with her again to book my next round of trips in September if you need a great place to stay in Plantation Sunrise area give them a shot you'll be happy with the service the food and the Ambiance of the hotel it it's nestled on the corner of Sunrise and University you can't miss it it's right across the street from Cava restaurant enjoy your stay
