  DO NOT STAY. Moved rooms twice and both rooms were filthy. Dirt and hair everywhere. The entire property was disgusting. Please stay away. Spend your money else where!!!

  Stained and bloody bedding in a freshly checked in room. Hair in sheets. Rooms phone doesn't work so you can't call anyone to let them know, and when you call the desk with your personal phone it just goes to the reservation center

  Booked a suite for 2 weeks and ended up having to check-out a week early due to an investigation involving a recent incident that happened on this facility where police enforcement had to be involved. I no longer felt safe to continue my stay here. I was exhausted after a long day and wanted to check-into my room only to find the entire building blocked by police cars on every corner. The police were not of any help- they said they could not disclose any details about the investigation onsite. Guests were expected to park and wait outside hotel premises and couldn’t get into the hotel until 1am in the morning which the police had left the site by then. I was very stressed and angry that no staff from the front desk answered phone calls from 5pm to 1am with attempts to get updates on what was going on and why guest were being locked out of the building. I eventually found out more info from the local news online for plantation. Guests should always be informed of all matters happening at the hotel and we rely on the front desk to keep us informed- which never happened that night of the that incident. On the other hand, the suite I booked was very nice, spacious, and comfortable. Air conditioning was nice. Morning breakfast items were very bland and made me nauseous most time due to it not having any flavor. The floor I was in smelled very strongly of nauseating drug substances and was impossible to avoid as the smell flooded the entire floor. Location of the hotel is not ergonomic as you have to really pay attention to where you’re driving or you’ll end up missing the entrance to the hotel most times. I did appreciate housekeeping services- they made sure I had fresh linens many times throughout the week. Overall, I wouldn’t return back to this location in the future.

  Room smelt like mold as soon as you entered, stuck it out for a few hours till my asthma started to kick in. Had to check out early and just sleep somewhere else for the night. The place didn't have any sort of television except for the 15 channels on the tv. No Netflix, no apps of any kind on the TV. Phone was completely busted in my room so couldn't reach front desk at all.

  If I could give zero stars, I honestly would. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had, and future guests should know what to expect. I booked a King room, but when I arrived, they put me in a double-bed room instead. On top of that, the phone in the room didn’t work, so I couldn’t call the front desk for help and had to walk down every time. The biggest issue was the condition of the room. I found multiple roaches, including: • Four on the ceiling • One on the bed • One in the shower • One on the wall This is completely unacceptable for any hotel, especially one under the Holiday Inn brand. When I reported it, I was told there were no available rooms to move me to. Their only solution was to send someone to spray chemicals in the room. The smell afterward was extremely strong, and we couldn’t sleep because of the fumes. So between the roaches, the spray smell, the wrong room type, and the broken phone, it was a very uncomfortable and stressful stay. The worst part was the lack of real assistance. No temporary room, no manager support, nothing. And when I contacted IHG Corporate about everything, they gave me 1,000 IHG points, which is basically a $6 apology for an experience that should never happen in any hotel. This stay did not reflect the quality or standards I expect from Holiday Inn or IHG. I hope management takes this seriously, because no guest should ever go through this.
