    I did not stay at this hotel because of their discriminatory practices towards "the locals." I needed a one-night hotel room, for myself, which I told the desk clerk that. The desk clerk was nice enough, but when I showed him my ID, he said, we need a $200 CASH deposit! I said, why? Where is this policy? It was nowhere written, and he said it was because I was local. This policy is discriminatory on its face towards local residents. Why should we have to pay a higher deposit than non-residents? Then, he did not charge it to my card like other IHG Hotels, he wanted me to pull it off the ATM. This in itself was suspect. Was he discriminating against me about why I wanted the use of the hotel? What if I just had a credit card and couldn't draw $200 cash? What if I was in a bad situation and needed a place to stay for the night? All of these questions come to mind when they deny local residents a place to stay because of a $200 CASH deposit they may not be able to pull out of the ATM. This place will not be getting any of my business nor any of my clients.

    This hotel is 3 miles from Naval Station back gate. The hallways don't seem to be air conditioned or ac is turned up to 80. Room 209 air conditioner leaking on the carpet room smelled mildewed. Sink in bathroom stopped up. This Holiday Inn does not have fresh cookies like all the others we have stayed in

    Last minute stay to see Naval Air Museum. Older hotel showing its age. Grungy and not up to the IHG brand. Only one elevator that is really slow, dirty and rickety. Room was musty and shower stained rusty with hard water build up on the shower head. I stayed on the fourth floor (top) where there was no AC in the hallway. Recommended a different place for others until they renovate this place. No issues with the staff at check in.

    Do Not Come Here! So much stuff stolen from our car. Definitely will not ever come back. Staff was super unhelpful, almost curious if they were the ones who took our things.
