  Wow!! Such amazing hospitality!! It started with Skyler at the front desk with such a warm and friendly face with exceptional customer service. Thank you Skyler for making us feel so special!! Then we had the most amazing service from Shane and Blake at the bar!! Again, just being welcomed with smiling faces and exceptional service. Our trip to Pensacola Beach didn’t start off great with us not having a great experience next door at the Hilton but with us coming next door to the Holiday Inn with these great employees and the rest of the amazing staff our experience here was Fantastic!!

  Our 5 night vacation here was SO GOOD we actually extended our trip not once, but twice! We originally only planned to stay for 3 nights. The rooms were clean and comfortable, great view and location with easy and fast access to the beach. Places to rinse off when going between beach and pool and also borrow bins with toys for kids which was sweet. We included the breakfast option with our stay and it was hot and good! The BEST part though was the staff! When I tell you they were accommodating, that is an understatement. Adam went above and beyond - let me just say he had the repair guy come out to our tent on the beach to help replace a broken/missing bolt that they gave us a new bolt for!! They were the nicest and it made our stay the best. Last but not least, the lazy river was great! Plenty floats and towels and easy to get food and drinks brought to your table/umbrella. Beef nachos were really good and if you’re looking for a good cocktail and like spicy margaritas, the salty sailor was yummy! Of course the pina colada was yummy too! & there are hammocks and swings near the fire pits that are lit at night! So relaxing! And the coffee bar iced caramel latte was so good too! And the prices are fair!! & the elevators are fast. One last thing, I had my 3 yo and 9 month old with us (me and my husband) and it was so kid friendly. A pirate even came one day to the pool to sword fight (fake Styrofoam swords) the kids! There is also a little game/arcade room!

  Justin and Jason at the Front Desk, were very cheerful and professional. Greeted us with big smiles and was a great start to the Vacation. The rooms were very clean looked great and smelled nice. Rooms had a few HBO channels as well. The pool deck and lazy river with heated water was nice although there is a large building next to the hotel which cuts off most sunlight after about 2 PM making the pool deck mostly shaded, which was unfortunate. This might not be the case during other months, but was the case for mid to late April. The hotel restaurant is extremely costly, the server told us that they are trying a new menu as of two weeks ago, and I found it hard to find the value of most of the items offered there. $20 cheeseburgers is one of the most costly burgers I’ve encountered so far in the hotel world.The breakfast buffet costs $20 a person and is just the regular scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, pastry and yogurt bar. All in all a nice hotel in a nice location with friendly employees.

  Pros: Service is excellent. rooms are clean and have good views. Food here and in the area is good and in plentiful variety. Pool & beach are well maintained - aside from the trash people leave. Cons: hotel breakfast is standard holiday inn (typically free) breakfast purchased from Cargill, but costs $20 a person. Hotels are not deep cleaned; mold on removable shower head hose, towels have yellowish stains. This hotel and its neighbors are operated by the typical lazy 18 year olds. (I saw one person who appeared to be over the age of 25) Tips: No need to buy the vip pool pass, the wrist band policy is very poorly enforced. Get a spot at the pool early, people from the beach come and take up the spots here without staying at the hotels. Best time for the hot tub is 9p-10p. IMO: save up a couple extra bucks, go to an all inclusive, especially if your a traveling couple. They are typically higher quality and wont try to sap a bunch of cash out of you in tips and fees.

  While many hotels use the word “resort,” this property truly lives up to its name! Evelyn at the reception desk was especially friendly, accommodating, and professional. The pool area, and tiki bar with live music was terrific! Our room was clean and well-maintained, and the view of the Gulf from our 10th floor balcony was amazing! The food and service in the on-site restaurant was very good as well. Overall I can say this is an excellent choice for a Gulf front hotel!
