  The good: For what I paid, the stay was okay. Can’t beat a free breakfast and being able to walk right out to the beach from the hotel. The rooms didn’t have carpet which is great. The bathrooms had Dove soap products, so if you forgot yours at home, it didn’t feel like you were washing your hair and body with the cheap crap that dries your skin out. The not so great: the floors of the room felt disgusting and not well cleaned, so bring yourself a pair of house slippers. The first day we arrived I was wearing white socks and the bottoms of them became black from the very few times I took my shoes off. The staff gave me contradictory answers in regards to how the rooms are set up. The night time ladies told me that ALL the rooms have doors that connect to another room. The guy in the morning told me that’s not true. I was unlucky enough to get a room with a connecting door to the room next to me. They are not well insulated/sound proof. I could hear everything that was going on next door. So, if you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to noise, I’d avoid this place. Our AC unit in the room was also rather loud. When it would kick on and off, it sounded like a jet engine (it wasn’t from planes outside, I’m a huge plane nerd). I told the staff and they said they would sent maintenance, but they never did.

  This hotel is clean , spacious, has a pool, free breakfast and it right on the beach. Pictures are as posted. All the rooms are facing the gulf…so every room has a view. It was an awesome stay for us.

  We've stayed multiple times. Nice location. Friendly staff. Nice view. I like that you can sleep with the balcony doors open and hear the ocean. I don't like how they play the inflation game. $300 one night $950 the next.

  I'm very judicious with my 5-star reviews and reserve them for places that knock my socks off, but in terms of IHG (an Express, at that) this place gets 5 stars for the brand. The views from the rooms (and even the elevator) are 👌🏽👌🏽 Rooms are spacious and modern. Free breakfast us good enough for an HI-Express. Coffee is always provided throughout the day as well as a filtered water fill up station. Parking is free, but the lot is small. They have a HEATED outdoor pool, which is something you don't see often, and beach access. The gym is small, as expected--one each of bike, treadmill, and elliptical, and DBs up to 50lb. Truly, a very nice hotel for the area.

  We stopped for a night at the beach and ended up staying an extra night. We had a different room each night and they were both clean, comfortable and had quiet air conditioning units. All of the rooms have a balcony and a gorgeous view of the ocean. The front desk staff was always friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with plenty of options from pancakes to eggs, sausage and potatoes. There was even a "borrow box" near the pathway to the beach. It had chairs, beach toys, and other things you might need that you couldn't bring with you. We had an amazing stay and we will definitely be back.
