  Diamond Elite members having never been at this location selected it because of the great customer reviews. Location, value, comfort and the views were all 5-star as described and exactly what we've come to expect with our IHG travels. It was however, our experience with a very polite young man named Steven who answered my call mentioning that we were on our 35th wedding anniversary and asking if it would be possible to reserve a room with a good view of the sunrise. We were absolutely amazed upon check-in when we realized that Steven had not only upgraded us to the 8th floor Penthouse but had taken that extra step to include Champaign and roses making our special day just that much more memorable. This kind and thoughtful act by a young man that we've never met far exceeded any expectations we could have had and are imbedded in our wonderful 10-star experience at this location and the memories of our anniversary.   Bianca at the front desk was absolutely AMAZING and accommodated everything our family needed for our vacation in Pensacola. 1000% recommend this hotel, room exceeded our expectations with cleanliness. Housekeeping was also very friendly and helpful during our stay. We will be returning for our future travels!

  The location was ideal being close to everything just walking distance to food and events. Cute downtown spot. The room and hotel was very clean. The bed and pillows were heavenly. Made for a great nights sleep. The free breakfast was what surprised me. The food quality was spot on and delicious. Would definitely recommend.

  We had an amazing stay at the Holiday Inn Express Pensacola Beach! The location is unbeatable — right on the Gulf with plenty of free parking. Every room has a balcony overlooking the water, which made for beautiful sunrises and relaxing evenings. Our room was a great size, clean, and very comfortable. The shower pressure was excellent, and the only thing we would have liked was a few more drawers for storage. The beach itself was quiet, clean, and never crowded — lots of open space next to the hotel and tons of seashells to collect. No need to fight for a spot to sit and enjoy the view! Breakfast was fantastic with plenty of options, including gluten-free choices and a nice variety each day. The hotel is well located — just a short drive to restaurants and attractions. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Pensacola Beach!

  This was my 2nd time at this location, and as someone who lived in Pensacola for a decade, this place was not welcoming. Arrived at 5PM, just to be told the room still wasn't available. Was basically instructed to sit in the car and wait after traveling 12 hours. The room we did finally receive wasn't on the top floors, as requested. The room was also severely out of date and honestly overpriced. Highlights: the hotel does offer a stupendous view, and you are allowed guests. As an IHG member however, I did expect more. Or at least the opportunity to stay an hour late on check out day. Certainly not worth $300+ a night.
