  Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pembroke Pines – 2/5 Stars The staff was extremely friendly and the free parking was convenient, which were definite positives. Unfortunately, the bed was very uncomfortable, extremely squishy, and the room had an unpleasant smell, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep. As someone who usually likes IHG properties, this one did not meet my expectations. It comes with a free breakfast though. Good service, but the room comfort needs serious improvement.

  The rooms are not cleaned properly and the breakfast is hardly refilled. When there is only one employee instead of two. The owner of the motel stand and watch the chaos rather then helping the employee to refilled the breakfast. I have stayed in lot of Holiday inn Express before and I never seen subpar things like using foam glass rather then using holiday Inn brand glasses to save some money. The breakfast have fewer items variety. When ask for compensation for the inconvenience, the owner denied saying that it was minor cleaning issues. I would avoid these hotel at all cost.

  The rooms are decent, the lady working the afternoon shift for check in was very nice amd helpful. The morning crew and breakfast are another story. The seating area is too small for thr size of the hotel and it was always packed and no place to sit. The food trays were alway empty and very slow to bring more back out. The biscuits were still frozen inside, the juice dispenser had nothing but water in all 4 options. When someone mentioned the issues to the front desk, she didnt seem to care much. We stay at Holiday Inns often and this was very disappointing from what we usually experience.

  Stayed in Room 511. The air condition did not work. Was told the engineer was gone for the night. They had us pack our belongings up to move to a different room. Received a call 15 min later that no other room was available. Didn’t sleep.. period! Front desk staff was not helpful. Manager never called me. I had to call him! Don’t stay here!

  My stay at this location was much better than my previous stay at the Plantation, FL location. I liked how the location was much quieter with better street and buildings. Breakfast was bland, ended up going to Dunkin’ Donuts most mornings. Loved the dining and food around the Pembrooke and Davie areas. Hotel was quiet at night with plenty of parking. Front desk staff were professional and respectful of guests. Housekeeping provided fresh linen daily- my only complaint is that my handwashing and body lotions weren’t replaced per my request after calling the front desk twice. Air conditioning was not working correctly, was very loud at night, and did not cool down the room despite it being on the coolest setting. Check-out was smooth.
