I stayed here last week and the entire hotel is great with great service and staff. I did have a problem with noise in my room but the manager was very attentive to my concerns.

Hotel Indigo Panama City Beach Marina was A1! This place didn’t miss a beat from the location to the 3 restaurants, views of the Bay. The decor and cleanliness of this place is unmatched. You literally don’t have to leave to do anything. There is fishing, kayaking food, music, and happy hour:-). The service was amazing and truthfully this has been the best vacation hotel I’ve ever encountered.

Simply put, this is a humble hotel with a lot to offer. The hospitality is good with friendly staff, guest amenities, many places to eat, and a beautifully curated design Guest amenities include a small gym (good for lifting, cardio, and mat exercises because they have mats), complimentary coffee in the mornings (they have non dairy creamer, a variety of different creamer flavors, to go cups), a pool area (with cabana beds, but no jacuzzi ), and there is a gorgeous place where you can walk near the bay. If you like to work on your computer, there are many places where you can sit quietly and work on your computer. The rooms include coffee, decaf coffee, tea packets, and the most delicious smelling sycamore fig handwash, AND BODY WASH:) If you like a good meal, they have affordable prices and delicious options that many will like (yes even your kids). I got this breakfast tostada for $13 which was perfect (not too salty, but flavorful). One thing i didn’t like is how there was no water in the room… humans need water and it’s one of the many meticulous amenities that you don’t realize people appreciate.. a lot So if you need water, bring a water bottle and fill it up at the gym, and other than that? You’re basically set to have a relaxing experience where you can have a good time without a large crowd of people.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Indigo. The property itself is fantastic—modern, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. I particularly appreciated the hard surface flooring in the rooms (a huge plus for anyone with allergies) and the stunning view of the Marina. The location in Downtown is great for walking to local restaurants and avoiding the crowds at the beach. However, I have to mention one significant environmental factor: the smell. Depending on the wind direction, there is a very strong, unpleasant odor coming from the bay/industrial area nearby. It smells like a mix of stagnant sea water and chemicals. The hotel is a perfect sanctuary with great AC and filtration, but you might want to keep the balcony doors closed if the wind is blowing from the east. Still, highly recommended for the quality of the stay itself.

We genuinely enjoy this hotel, and it’s disappointing to have to leave a negative review. However, I want to be honest and transparent about our experience. Had we known a wedding was scheduled during our stay, we would not have booked this trip. Both nights, the main restaurant and bar on the ground floor were closed for private wedding events. Guests were directed to an alternative restaurant/bar on the 5th floor, which was completely overwhelmed. I personally waited in line for approximately 45 minutes and was never even able to place an order due to the volume of people and the limited staff trying to manage the crowd. We paid the same if not more than other guests for a balcony room, expecting to relax, enjoy the hotel amenities, and take in the boat show this weekend. Instead, the resort has been uncomfortably crowded, and the overall experience has been frustrating and far from enjoyable. We are not alone in feeling this way. Several other guests staying near us have expressed the same concern and stated that they also would not have booked had they been informed of the wedding in advance. Hotel Indigo, this is not an issue of hosting events it’s an issue of communication. Guests should be clearly notified at the time of booking when major private events will significantly impact access to amenities. Better transparency would have set appropriate expectations and avoided a very disappointing stay.
