Pool was heated despite the cold ( 50's) people where in the pool till 11pm. Movie at the pool was a nice touch. Beds not comfortable the gaps in the mattresses. It was pretty busy for off season. Ping pong table and billiard was popular with the kids. Lazy river is not heated. Gorgeous ocean view. I wouldn't go again it is pricy for what you get. And resort fee is $49 a day. Self park included. Overall good for kids and teens.

Bathroom light shut off about every 90 seconds no matter what. Guess service wasn't rude but also not very helpful. Tiki bar not bad however the overwhelming smell of old grease was very off putting. Likely will not return to this location. Did like the late hours of pool area operation.

There is a big difference in the vibe between US resorts and other countries beach resorts. Everyone in US wants to be called "resorts" in most cases they are not, not even close. That has changed a bit after visiting Holiday Inn Resort, did I just say Holiday inn? What? Lol. The staff was very friendly, you can feel the beach vibe, the grounds were very well maintained, even when chilly the bar was open with the heaters on, and live music, kudos to the management. Ms Macedonia did a great job behind the bar. I think when it gets warmer this place will rock. We spent 2 days exploring, St Andrews Sate Park is a must visit, Lynn's sea food in Eastwood is worth a drive, this will also give you a chance to explore the Forgotten Coast, we had no regrets doing it and visiting few towns, very wild difference. Cross the street at your own risk, be on a look out. I see no reason why we would not return. Below was posted while visiting: Management should not allow kids sitting at the bar, every night I see this. This is very wrong, looking at one now.
