  What a mess. We are only on day 2 and this is our current experience. Will update if things change. Check In - Hotel uses old images and didn’t check with partner site (Priceline) and we end up with a different room than was pictured. Their response - the description was “right” the pictures aren’t what you get, just examples. Don’t post pictures of rooms if they are incorrect. Now we have a smaller room, and have no other options. On going room issues - > The WiFi in the room does not reach the entire room and the building is a cellphone dead zone. Neither the internet support line nor the hotel can resolve the issue after multiple calls. We will just have to deal with it while we are here according to the front desk. > Room needed the phone replaced and table legs tightened since they were so loose I can spin them with my hand. Maintenance responded promptly. External Issues - > Playground is locked for weather even though it was dry and only a light wind blowing. Note, the pool was still open and people were playing in it. > Arcade room had limited games, two broke while we were playing and hotel called off site support but nothing was resolved.

  This is the worst Westgate resort I’ve stayed at. There’s a very tiny draft restaurant that was closed every night. There was no bar or way to get food after 3:00 on the resort for my three kids. The furniture in our room was disgusting . Hair all over . They knocked at our door at 8:15 to see if we were out even though we had check out at 10:00. They disabled my key card at 9:30 and I had a hard time getting my things out of my room. They close the basketball court at 7 even though nothing else to do there besides swim in the one pool. There was no pans to use in the oven to cook with or pot holders. All in all it was a disappointing hotel to say the least

  We had to find new hotel accommodations while visiting Universal and I'm so glad we booked Westgate Palace. The rooms are more than spacious, service is great and you can't beat the location. They have a beautiful pool overlooking the lake. Basketball, volleyball, ping pong and a playground for the kids. You can even fish off the dock! We will definitely be back to visit. Highly recommend!!!

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re coming to Orlando for Universal, let me save you time — Westgate Palace Hotel / Universal / I-Drive is hands down one of the BEST places you can stay. I’m big on comfort, location, and overall experience… and this place nails all three. The room was absolutely amazing — super spacious, clean, and set up perfectly. You’ve got a full kitchen, a comfortable living room to unwind, and bedrooms that actually feel like home. The beds? Top tier. After a long day walking the parks, that’s everything. What really blew me away though is the location. You are literally right by Universal Epic Universe and just minutes from all of Universal Orlando Resort. It doesn’t get more convenient than this. No long drives, no stress — just quick access to everything you came for. And when you’re done with the parks, you come back to a peaceful, relaxing setup instead of a cramped hotel room. That balance is huge. The staff was also on point — friendly, welcoming, and made everything smooth from check-in to check-out. As someone who travels a lot and pays attention to details, this place checks all the boxes. Whether you’re with family, your significant other, or even just need space to stretch out — this is the move. I’d 100% stay here again. If you’re planning a Universal trip, don’t overthink it… book here.

  Absolutely loved this Hotel. Perfect for family vacations. The ability to share the same suite while still having privacy with individual rooms, was amazing. Kitchen area provided all utensils to cook and dine. Dish washer with cleaning supplies and washer / dryer for laundry. Beautiful outdoor spaces with pool and Jacuzzi. Being able to grab Starbucks Coffee from the lobby was icing on the cake. Super convenient parking that offers two vehicles per reservation. They even offer a shuttle to and from the amusement parks. The staff was welcoming, kind and attentive. We definitely look forward to going back. Awesome experience overall.
