Very good stay. Omar Bolívar at front desk is fantastic. Smiles and soft spike. Ever helpful. The rooms are big. Hotel is older but well maintained - bed OK mattress could be better. Breakfast good and generally very happy.
Yes. We recommend this hotel. Yes. We would stay here again.

We needed to find a hotel in Orlando last-minute after our flight came in late and ended up at this Staybridge Suites location. The room was clean and spacious and the kitchen set-up with a large fridge and included dishes was a nice bonus. The staff we interacted with were also super friendly.
The only feedback we had was minor. The picture quality on both TVs in the room had a weird blue tint that we couldn't fix in picture settings. It almost looked like the backlight might be going out on the screen, but again, it wasn't a huge issue for us as we were only there for one night.
We would absolutely stay here again if we find ourselves needing a hotel in Orlando!

My family booked Staybridge Suites for my husbands bday. We are from New England and it has been a particularly harsh winter. We wanted to simply enjoy the Florida sun and a good pool for a few days. We did ample research to choose this hotel as its pool and hot tub facility as it looked like exactly what we wanted. We arrived at the hotel to be told that the pool was under maintenance, closed down along with the outside terrace area, and that we would need to be shuttled every day around the convenience of the shuttle driver to a pool 'about 10-15 mins away to some other facility.' We were incredibly dissapointed. There was no indication anywhere when we booked this hotel that the pool was out of order, or we obviously would not have booked it. Additionally, we were guests for 3 nights and 4 days, and housekeeping did not come to our room once. If we needed to request it, we were not told to do so. I did have to request clean towels after day 3. We were also not informed that we needed to sign up for the shuttle to the airport on our return trip to the airport. My husband inquired himself and was told this by the main desk. The 'pantry' which sells drinks and snacks in the lobby, was not stocked. There is no bottled water anywhere on the premises, and there is no vending that I could find.
On the plus side, breakfast was good, the room itself was very nice. Hotel is nice and quiet. Hotel is very clean. Good location and some good restaurants in the other hotels in the 'park' I recommend Crimson Tavern which is in the Marriott for anyone staying here. Guest laundry is on the house and worked out nicely, but again, I had to inquire as to where it was. Omar, who helped with check in, was patient and kind.
We likely will not return to this hotel, with so many other options in that location and after this unfortunate experience.
But we were grateful for our time in Florida.
I recently stayed at Staybridge Suites Orlando International with my family for one night upon arriving in Orlando and again for one night before flying home. I have stayed at many Staybridge Suites properties across the U.S., and unfortunately, this was by far the most run-down location I have experienced.
During the first part of our stay, the room was acceptable but clearly in need of updates. The paint was chipped, and there was visible rust around the bathroom trim. It felt worn and not up to the standard I’ve come to expect from this brand.
Another major disappointment was that the pool was closed during both of our stays. We were never notified ahead of time — despite the closure occurring after we had already booked our rooms. Had we known the pool would be unavailable, we absolutely would have chosen another hotel, as access to a pool was important for our children. The lack of communication about this was extremely frustrating.
Our second stay was even more concerning. We arrived early and asked about the possibility of checking in early. As an IHG member, I’ve never had an issue with early check-in at other IHG properties, but we completely understood when we were told a room was not yet available. The issue was not the delay — it was the service.
The receptionist, John, was very unpleasant and difficult to interact with. He took our phone number and told us we would receive a text message when our room became available. We never received that text. After driving around to pass the time, we returned about 30 minutes before official check-in and were told that our room had actually been ready for quite some time.
What made the experience even more disappointing was overhearing John enthusiastically explaining dinner specials and promotions to the next guests checking in, despite telling me there were no specials available. His demeanor and body language noticeably changed. It felt as though information was selectively shared, which left a very poor impression.
To make matters worse, while in our room during our second stay, there was a strong burning smell. We had no idea what it was and received no communication from the hotel. Later, we found out there had been a “small fire” somewhere in the building. We were never alerted — no alarms, no knock on our door, nothing. That was incredibly alarming and unacceptable from a safety standpoint.
On top of the burning smell, there was also a horrible mildew/moldy odor in the room. I left the bathroom fan running in an attempt to help with the smell, which improved it slightly, but it was still very noticeable and unpleasant. There were also visible stains on the sheets another shock.
The one bright spot of our stay was Jo Vonne, the evening receptionist. She was absolutely wonderful — courteous, helpful, and genuinely interested in resolving some of the issues we experienced. Her professionalism and kindness were greatly appreciated.
Overall, due to the condition of the property, the lack of communication regarding a fire, the pool closure without notice, and the negative front desk experience, we would never stay at this location again — especially considering the number of other amazing hotels in this very popular area.
