- CSClint Shea2 days ago3.0Decent views of the city and most of central Florida, but it won’t leave you breathless. You can see most theme parks except for Disney. I’d recommend bring some binoculars. You can also hook your phone up to the speakers in your cabin via Bluetooth and play your own music which is cool. I’d highly recommend you go during the day. I’ve been both day and night and you can’t see anything at night. But, it’s only about a 20 minute ride around the eye and it’s $40 per person after taxes. Kinda hard to recommend this to be honest. It’s a cool experience I’d pay $20 bucks for, but it’s hard to justify at its current cost.

The ride was smooth and offered nice views of the city, especially from the top, but the scenery itself is fairly limited compared to other observation wheels. It’s enjoyable and relaxing, just not particularly memorable. That said, the area around it is lively with restaurants, shops, and attractions, which makes it a pleasant stop if you’re already nearby. Worth doing once if you have extra time, but not a highlight of the trip.
- JKJaron KuehnDec 18, 20251.0Went to Icon Park. Came strictly for The Eye. Decided we’d spend the extra $6 and do the double pass so we could enjoy The Eye and The Sea Life. At this point I’m $160 in. Well as we head to The Eye it was experiencing “maintenance”. So we headed over to Sea Life. Spent an hour looking through the SMALL aquarium. The Eye was still experiencing maintenance so decided to go spend an additional $95 walking through the 20 minutes of Museum of Illusions just to try and fill some time. Come back and now we’re told that The Eye is down for the day. They only refunded us $10/per person. So we spent nearly $255 doing absolutely nothing we came to do. Could have easily went to SeaWorld and spent half of that with 10x the activities. Absolute crooks nor did they seem to care in the slightest. Push you into their “package deals” and don’t deliver not to mention from what we heard from others is that it consistently happens. Embarrassing way to run a business. STAY AWAY! Go spend your money at Universal, Disney, or SeaWorld. Avoid this place like the plague.
