Service: (4/5)
One thing I genuinely appreciated was the service before I even received my room. I arrived very early, but Yasmine was able to check me in ahead of schedule and notified me as soon as my room was ready. That level of attentiveness made the process much more convenient.
Room: (3/5)
I stayed in a double queen room that was a decent size and included a Keurig, mini-fridge, TV, desk, and bathroom. The beds were very comfortable, which I appreciated after a long day. However, there were a few issues that impacted the stay. The bathroom drain plug was broken and came apart, and the toilet made a continuous running noise every 20 minutes—even with the door closed—which made it difficult to sleep. The peephole on the room door was obstructed, which raised some safety concerns. It was also disappointing that the room did not include a microwave.
Breakfast Experience: (2.1/5)
When booking, it was unclear whether breakfast was included or required an additional cost; the listing only showed the times. In the morning, I was asked for a breakfast coupon, which I didn’t have because my room did not include it—no issue there, but the process could have been clearer. I ended up paying $15 per person for my wife and me. The setup was unusual because you’re seated and given water, but it’s still self-serve. While there were several options available, the food was unfortunately bland and didn’t match the value of the $36 total cost.

Context - I am someone who has spent well over 1,000 nights in hotels. This was not one of my better experiences. Our first room only had hot, scalding hot water in the shower. It was a pain to change rooms after unpacking but these things happen at times. I would have expected the cleaning team to have noticed this though. Our next room did not have enough towels, the shower curtain was broken and the fan in the bathroom did not work. I was ready to note this items to the person when I was checking out but he did not ask how the stay was. He did yawn loudly though. So those experiences plus what I would consider very dirty common areas makes me not recommend this hotel unless you are in a pinch.

Lovely big hotel and the rooms were lovely! Beautiful comfortable queen size beds and the pillows were perfect to sleep on. As we stayed only half a day we could have happily stayed overnight. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Not to mention the free shuttle bus to the airport which saved us a few dollars. The pool looked lovely too but didn’t have time to go in it. May be back in the future to this hotel (Holiday Inn)

Hotel was as expected. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly, and the price was very reasonable. The shuttle service to the airport made it easy to get to my early morning flight (especially for a Californian on the east coast). Additionally, the staff went above and beyond to sort out a mistake that I made in booking a room for the incorrect day. I will absolutely be coming back to this hotel for future trips to Orlando.

Great staff, Beautiful building, rooms, The Drift Restaurant has delicious food the staff there too was friendly and accommodating, prices were fair for a hotel Restaurant.
So with an overall great experience, why only 3 stars.
Roaches... yes Roaches, the establishment looks very clean, but obviously pest control is not being observed. German Roaches like the two we saw require exhaustive measures to eliminate. So if you stay there, do not take your luggage or bags and unpack once you get home. Leave everything outside for several hours preferably overnight. Then unpack outside, place all clothes into the wash. Don't take chances, getting rid of them is a very costly, lengthy endeavor, the hotel is not gonna reimburse your expense.
