  Honestly was a great stay! They had shuttle to epic universe and universal which are free! In addition it comes with breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised on their selection they had. They had bagels, milk, orange juice, apple juice, cereal, eggs, boiled eggs, fresh fruit and more! The room is as expect and is like any hotel room!

  Super clean, great breakfast, nice outdoor pool and hot tub. Road noise is a little loud at night.

  $16 parking fee. You will hear the traffic from the nearby highway. Friendly staff, great breakfast and premium coffee machine. Room was clean.

  We stayed in a suite with a second double queen room for our older teens. Our family usually prefers staying at Holiday Inn express hotels because we feel they have been at a pretty consistent comfort and cleanliness standard, with a decent breakfast, everywhere we have traveled. However, after this stay, I've found that my confidence in that consistency is wavering. This hotel is in DESPERATE need of a remodel. Or at the very least, a deep clean. The lobby floors were dirty and sticky and so were the elevators and the area in front of the elevators. The paint needs a serious refresh as I could see patch lines on the ceiling in my room. Water poured out of the shower stall in the suite we had rented and the shower looked nasty. Under the sink looked like it hadn't been swept or mopped in a while. And parking. 16 dollars a day. Drives me nuts to pay to park on top of paying for a room. Took two tries to get the toilet that was leaking in the double queen fixed. The breakfast met expectations. We stayed 6 nights and, between the two rooms, paid about $3,000, not including parking. Most staff were attentive, while a few needed to get off their phones. It was conveniently located for Universal Studios, however, the freeway was very loud from our room and I needed ear plugs to sleep. After my stay I wish I had taken the risk with an VRBO or Airbnb. This Holiday Inn express definitely didn't meet expectations.

  DO NOT BOOK IF YOU JUST TURNED 21. I arrived on February 13th at 10pm to check in, and was turned down because I need to be 21 years *and* 6 months to book, according to the front desk. Front desk also told me it was "Florida law" until she backpedaled into "company policy". Then she claimed they never got my reservation from Super.com (which I booked 3 WEEKS in advance) and the hotel was entirely booked so there was nothing they could do and I had nowhere to stay. Going online to see what both Super.com and the OFFICIAL Holiday Inn say about age, it's shown in the screenshots nothing about having to be "21 years PLUS 6 months", that the minimum is 21. They probably gave my room away by mistake and tried covering their tracks.
