If I could leave a zero I would. Terrible customer service! I purchased traveler's insurance, had to switch dates for my trip by one week, the hotel refused to accommodate even though the room was the same price, and then would not even return my messages. They stole $240 of my hard earned money and refused to even give me a credit. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn again, nor will I ever purchase insurance. All it is is a huge SCAM.
Pros:
The bed was comfortable. The hotel also offered a good selection of Dove products, including soap, lotion, shampoo, and conditioner.
Cons:
There were several issues during our stay. We found long strands of hair in the bed between the sheet and comforter. The shower curtain was rusted, and the shower pressure was very low because the spout would not fully switch from bath to shower—no matter how hard it was pulled—so the bathtub faucet had to run at the same time as the shower.
The AC unit was the most frustrating issue. It was stuck on fan mode and did not allow us to adjust the temperature or turn the air conditioning on. The airflow was very weak, making the room extremely stuffy. As a result, my nose became completely congested, even though I felt fine when we arrived.
Breakfast was scheduled to start at 6:30 AM, but the area did not open until more than 30 minutes later, with no signage or communication explaining the delay. Several guests arrived around 6:45 AM and were understandably upset, especially given that this is Orlando and many guests have early morning plans.
To make matters worse, the fire alarm went off at 7:55 AM due to a false alarm, which caused significant frustration among guests, particularly those traveling with toddlers.
Overall:
Hotel looks modern because of newer paint and decorations, but look past that and it’s actually pretty outdated. I would only recommend this hotel in an emergency situation where no other affordable options are available. We will not be returning.

Was looking for accommodation closer to Universal and Disney, found this hotel in google, and it was good enough for the trip.
They do have complementary hot breakfast which is good and have lots of options, but often times I have observed that some of the food items were not cooked properly. They even keep filling the items even after their designated breakfast times which can be very convenient.
They do say that they have a shuttle to Universal studios but it’s not their own, but looks like a public/universal bus, also it may reach 15-20 mins late. They have 2 elevators but they are very old and slow, I also felt jerks once in a while which can be bit scary.
The rooms looked bit old but are clean and nice. For a 2 queen bed room they gave a small chaise longue, and a sitting desk, in both a 4-feet kid can sleep, which I have never seen. I would consider coming here again for my next trip. They come with a small fridge and microwave. The bathrooms were nice too.
I visited here during the new year, and I took the 6th floor purposely facing Universal Studios and I enjoyed the landscape of fireworks at 12AM.

Worst hotel experience in my life! We booked 2 nights, 1st night was fine. 2nd night we got to our room at 1030pm, and there was loud music/bass coming through the floor. We called the front desk and they said there was a wedding party and that the "quiet hours" didn't apply to the weekend. So apparently, sleep is only important at this hotel during the week. We decided to check out and leave since they wouldn't move our room. Now they won't call or email me back about getting a refund for the 2nd night. The "quiet hours" were posted in multiple spots, with NO mention of weekends being different than weekdays. We would have never booked if we knew this. Nobody cares at this hotel that guests can't even sleep when this is the service they provide. EDIT: The GM responded below, & I emailed him my reservation info, & it is 100% his hotel.
