  We stayed here a while back and had a similar experience to what we just had. We were not going to stay here again but decided to give it another try. Last time we got to the airport and needed a shuttle to the hotel. We were told the shuttle was full do to a big group arriving and that was the last shuttle of the night. We were told they would not come back and get us and we would need to take a taxi or Uber. So we had to pay extra to get to the hotel. This morning when I called I was told the shuttle would be there to pick us up but it would be a wait of about 20 minutes. I said ok and we waited and waited. 40 minutes later I called again to see if they were still coming and the response was oh..now where are you? Seriously you forgot about us. Then we were told they were very busy and we would have to take a taxi. I was not happy at all. When we arrived in the taxi the manager was short and a bit defensive. I told her I was not happy at all and she started to tell me she understands but I didn't need to be as angry as I was....I did tell her not to tell me what my behavior should be. As we told her about our last experience she told us they would never say that and we must have stayed at a different HI Express. Nope we stayed there. We have stayed there many times. Again this time we were told they were real busy delivering people to the airport.....apparently both times we just didn't matter. Then she told us a few more times they would not say what we told her we had been told. Calling us liars. After a red eye flight I was not happy about being forgot to pick up at the airport....yes manager lady....forgotten! On a positive note their breakfast is good, the room was clean and the bed was comfy but we will not stay there again because we are not important customers to them. They are just to busy ....we were told many times.

  Took the shuttle from air port to hotel. Daniel at the hotel desk was amazing with are text communication of details and keeping us up to date. The driver Tylor was also awesome. Highly recommend using this hotel for the shuttle. Hotel stay was great as well.

  Nothing special. Good for an overnight with shuttle service to/ from airport. Amenities: 7Eleven next door, McDonald's appeared to be the only nearby restaurants. About 20-25 min Uber ride to Epic Universe. Rooms: Dated, surface clean, paper thin walls. Hallway carpets look dinghy. The bathroom had peeling paint and could use new caulking due to water damage. Desk service: Sufficient and efficient. Breakfast buffet: These are adequate they are never "good" or "great" nothing stood out.

  If you are visiting Orlando & need a place to stay near the airport-Here is a “hidden gem “. It is “tucked away” behind a car wash but close to restaurants, gas stations, convenience stores, etc. (Watch for the Holiday Inn Express sign!) Although the carpet in the Front Lobby shows results of heavy usage, it & the rest of the site are clean & well maintained. The Front Desk Clerk was very friendly & helpful. She asked if & when we were flying out (we were) & adjusted our checkout time for a later departure. (Most hotels make you beg for a later checkout time.) My spouse has mobility issues & needs a room with appropriate accommodations. Our room had the accommodations we needed including a shower that we both could use . The room was clean & well maintained. The room also had a generous amount of ports for all of our electronics. This site does have shuttle service to the airport & we saw many guests using it. There is an outdoor pool, which was in constant use. If you are visiting Orlando & looking for a place to stay near the airport & local attractions- This location works well.

  We stayed here for three or four nights and enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they text you pretty much daily to see if you need anything or check on you. The breakfast is in my opinion so so compared to what IHG normally had but still decent. Plenty of hot water thankfully, decent water pressure, comfy beds, and the room for pretty clean.
