I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Orlando UCF Area on December 28th. My confirmation number for this stay was 81259539. Despite using my free night points, I noticed a charge of $51.52 on my credit card. When I contacted the hotel, I spoke with a representative named Noah (or Jonah), who repeatedly denied the existence of the charge and insisted that no error was possible. The charge was supposed to be to the ihg as it was free night but instead they charged me. I realized there might have been a system glitch which charged me instead of the ihg but he denied that and refused to escalate the situation saying there is no charge even though I have the charge on my credit card. Despite my repeated requests to speak with his supervisor or management, he firmly refused and claimed that no one could assist. Additionally, on the night of my stay, the hotel experienced a hot water issue and contacted me prior to check-in to offer either cancellation or half the points. I accepted the half points, but I have not yet received them. I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving these issues, ensuring that the charge is properly addressed and that the missing points are credited. Also please talk to the representative and let him know that if he does not know something then he should bring that to his superiors instead of denying the existence. Addendum: holiday inn replied saying that the charge was authorization only. However if they look at the picture attached on the review, it clearly shows the charge has already been posted on December 31. So it is not just authorization. 2nd addendum : I disputed the charge with the credit card and they refunded me the money.

No hot water, which made it very, VERY uncomfortable to bathe. They knew about the issue before we arrived but we were only informed upon arrival, which was too late to find another place to stay. They said it would be fixed by Monday (it was Saturday), but nope. I guess they didn't want to pay for fixing it over the weekend. Based on previous reviews, why is this a consistent issue here?

When we first arrived they gave us a room that had a dirty towel laying on the sink in the bathroom and the toilet was full of feces like someone had an accident in it. The process to get another room was easy, but the next morning we figured out the whole hotel was going to be out of hot water for the next 2 days. They didnt disclose this to us at any point. Also, the room was very humid and the AC didnt cool. We had to get a full refund for our stay and move to a different hotel

I booked a room for my daughter and son in law and when they checked in there was no hot water and no water pressure. They went to the front desk and they were given another room and that was the same. They asked if there was a problem and they said no all was fine. But they will get maintenance. Maintenance finally shows up and they said there was a water shutdown to do some work. Maintenance was annoyed that the front desk acted like nothing was wrong. When they asked to talk to a manager; supposedly the manager was busy at first but then the manager came out and the maintenance guy called the manager out saying they were working on the water. This was after the manager told my kids that obviously the water wasn’t up To “their” liking and there was nothing wrong with it. Customer service was terrible and they had to check out. Besides all of this there is construction which was not on their website. Will not ever stay there again and it’s a shame because we have company come all the time needing a hotel.

I recently spent 5 nights here (December 3rd to 8th). The positives: The front desk staff were all very helpful and courteous. The breakfast area staff, especially Tess, was also super helpful and they were constantly refilling food items and keeping the breakfast area clean. Breakfast was your usual standard free breakfast fare with a variety of items to choose from. There was fresh fruit available daily as well. The hotel is undergoing a renovation/refurbishment. We stayed in a recently redone room. The construction workers were conscientious when guests needed to use the elevator, as they were busy unloading furniture and other construction items. Noise from the construction was at a minimum. The negatives: Housekeeping!! In my entire stay, housekeeping came only twice! The first time was the day after our arrival. For two days we didn’t have any housekeeping stop by. On the second day of no housekeeping, I stopped by at the front desk to find out how often housekeeping is supposed to come. I was told that it was supposed to be daily. It was approximately 3 or 4 pm and I was told that housekeeping had left for the day but they assured me they would service my room the following day. I was having to run down to the front desk for towels, toilet paper and large garbage bags to empty my garbages. This is unacceptable! The following day, housekeeping finally came at approximately 3 pm. She spent less than 10 minutes in my room. She quickly cleaned my bathroom, changed the towels and emptied my garbage. Beds were not made, and linens were not refreshed. I saw the housekeeping staff spending long amounts of time in some of the guest rooms with the door closed. They were chatting on their cell phones and I even saw one of the ladies sitting on the bed chatting. Not much cleaning was being done. I strongly urge management to follow up on their housekeeping staff as this is not acceptable.
