  Checked in after midnight and they charged me “no show fee” even though we stayed same dates originally booked and check in for the original reservation. Nowhere during booking process it states you have to check before midnight and no one told us during checkin or checkout about this fee, this was just charged on card without explanation, check your statements. This fee is equal for extra day stay.

  Adarius Enzor at the front desk was excellent along with the breakfast manager. The young lady we met when we first arrived was absolutely amazing. I give 5 STARS to your entire team. Outstanding job.👍🏼👍🏼

  This hotel fails to live up to the photos in the IHG app. Dirty, mildew in rooms, showers and bathrooms were not newly renovated as mentioned. The furniture is peeling, walls are cracked, couches are ripped, and the sink was showing signs of leaks and mildew. Hotel staff did bare minimum to address concerns such as refund the parking and fees but management did not speak to us. We were referred to IHG and when we expressed the concern of not having points to book another hotel while waiting on the "refund" staff seemed not to care about us being stranded. IHG did refund our points, but the Crowne Plaza itself is disgusting, dirty, and staff does not care. Feel free to compare these photos to the ones on the app or website if you're looking. Very disappointed.... (Want a better option, go to the Kompose Boutique Hotel, right near the parks and fabulous place) As IHG rewards and Chase Card holders, we likely will not be back to IHG unless we must.

  I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. They actually have someone downstairs in the breakfast area who watches you eat and has a list of people who did and didn’t pay for breakfast which was crazy. Let’s make breakfast free to everyone, we already had to pay for the 2 nights, resorts fee, and parking! All the added unnecessary fees were ridiculous. I know it’s Florida but the room and covers were really muggy and sticky. After checking out, I was charged twice for my resort fee and parking fee and never received my deposit back or got my money back for the double charge. I will never stay there again.

  Was very happy until I went to checkout and discovered they charged me an almost $40 (after taxes) additional fee for parking. This charge is not disclosed on the app when you book, it is not listed in the hotel description or features, nor was it mentioned at any time during check-in. The desk never even asked if I had a vehicle, they just charged me without my knowledge or consent. I chose this hotel specifically because they didn't have any fees listed aside from the 'amenities fee', and the reviews mentioned the free parking. Hotel office manager refused to remove the illegal charge, and told me that it was stated on a paper on the desk. The fact that I was at the second desk that didn't have said sign and that it was never pointed out to me, was irrelevant. This is by far the worse service I have EVER received in my time with IHG, and is in my experience completely unlike the brand. I'm a 'Diamond member', was platinum before they changed the rewards levels, and have been using the brand for over a decade. The fact that I called in advance to ask about the fees that would be charged and told that I would still pay the amenities fee on my reward nights was understandable. But I specifically asked if there would be anything else, and was told that there were no additional fees. To be charged after the fact, when I had to specifically ask for a receipt and was not given one upon checkout tells me that this location regularly overcharges the guests and gets away with it enough to be a profitable practice for them.
